Fri Dec 20 201314:35De Vries getting interest from four teams
Cole De Vries told Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press that he's weighing offers from the Red Sox, Rangers, Orioles and Reds.
Two of the clubs have offered an invitation to spring training, though De Vries wouldn't say which two they were. De Vries holds a 5.08 ERA over 102 2/3 innings at the big league level but has a bit tidier 4.12 mark in the minors.

Sun Sep 22 201319:14Cole De Vries destroyed in loss to Athletics
Cole De Vries was destroyed in Sunday's loss to the Athletics, surrendering six runs on four hits in just two innings of work.
De Vries also issued three free passes while striking out one in the rough outing. He made it through the first inning unscathed, but all hell broke loose in the second where the A's struck for six runs, highlighted by a three-run homer off the bat of Coco Crisp. De Vries now owns a troublesome 11.70 ERA and 2.40 WHIP through 10 innings with the Twins this season. He'll likely get another start against the Indians at home on Saturday, but should be avoided in all fantasy formats.

Fri Sep 20 201309:19Cole De Vries to start in Hendriks' place
Cole De Vries will start on Sunday against the Athletics.
He's taking the rotation spot of the struggling Liam Hendriks. De Vries posted a 0.53 ERA over 17 innings in spring training to earn an Opening Day rotation spot, but a forearm issue in his final Grapefruit League outing sent him to the DL. He'll be making his first start at the big league level since last September. "I finally feel like I'm back to 100 percent," he said. "It only took five months, but what are you going to do?"

"He got to about 50 pitches or so. So he'll pitch May 10 for New Britain at home and we'll see how he does. We'll stretch him out again." De Vries is expected to be stretched out 100 pitches before becoming an option for the Twins' rotation.

Fri Mar 22 201300:20Cole De Vries goes four scoreless
Cole De Vries pitched four shutout innings out of the pen against the Yankees on Thursday.
The Twins are likely going with Sam Deduno as their fifth starter, so unless they want to send Kevin Correia to the pen already (not gonna happen), there's no room for De Vries in the rotation. He could make the team as a middle reliever or pitch out of the Triple-A rotation.

Sat Mar 16 201316:43Cole De Vries solid for three innings in win
Cole De Vries allowed one run in three innings Saturday in the Twins' 2-1 victory over the Pirates.
Despite his absence from camp, Samuel Deduno has taken over as the favorite to become the Twins' fifth starter based on his showing for the Dominican Republic in the WBC. De Vries still could make the team as a reliever. He's allowed just one run in 10 innings this spring.

De Vries was 5-5 with a 4.11 ERA in 16 starts and one relief appearance for the Twins last season before missing the final three weeks with a broken rib. He's in the mix for the fifth spot in the rotation this spring, but there's very little fantasy upside here.
