Athletics re-signed INF Wes Timmons to a minor league contract.

He'll also get an invite to spring training. Timmons batted .341/.420/.468 with eight home runs, 62 RBI and an .888 OPS over 401 plate appearances this season between Double-A Midland and Triple-A Sacramento. The 32-year-old will be a longshot to crack the A's Opening Day roster.
