Singleton signed with Isreal's Bnei Herzliya on Thursday, Sportando reports.
Singleton has plenty of experience playing overseas, suiting up for four different squads since the 2011-12 season. Most recently, Singleton was abroad last season in China and averaged 7.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 24 minutes per game with Venezuela's Guaros de Lara ballclub. He was last spotted in the NBA during the final month of the lockout-shortened 2011-12 season and played 12 games with the Wizards before spending the last three years internationally.

Wed Apr 10 201318:52Report: Knicks close to deal with Singleton
The Knicks are close to a deal with free-agent forward James Singleton, Frank Isola of the New York Daily News reports.
Singleton spent the season playing in China. His pending signing means the Knicks will have to cut someone, which Isola speculates is likely injured big man Kurt Thomas. Neither player has any fantasy value so this news shouldn't affect your league in the slightest.

Unrestricted FA James Singleton did not rule out playing in China next season.
"As I've always said, the NBA is a great place to be," Singleton wrote in a text message to the Washington Post, "but at the end of the day, I have to do what's best for me and my family. China will always be an option. Anywhere in the world is pretty much." He averaged 8.2 points and 6.8 rebounds for Washington last season.

Thu Aug 2 201210:13James Singleton won't be returning to Wizards
Unrestricted FA James Singleton has decided to "move on" from the Wizards.
Singleton was signed in April for the remainder of the 2011-12 season and actually fared well, averaging 8.2 points and 6.8 rebounds on 54.7 percent shooting in just 22 minutes per game. He may have to wait a little longer to find the right fit, but Singleton does enough off the bench that he should land on an NBA roster as depth along the front line.

Wed May 9 201219:00Wizards interested in James Singleton
James Singleton improved his jump shot while playing in China last year, and the Wizards have already expressed an interest in re-signing him.
The 30-year-old veteran averaged 8.2 points and 6.8 rebounds in the final 10 games of the season, when the Wizards shockingly went 8-2. Depending upon where he signs next year, he's worth watching as a source of low-end fantasy value.

Tue Apr 17 201203:52Singleton scores six points vs. Bulls
James Singleton scored six points on 3-of-5 shooting with five rebounds, two steals, and two blocks in 16 minutes off the bench on Monday.
Despite playing just 23 minutes per game over the past two weeks, Singleton has averaged 9.3 points, 7.3 boards, 0.9 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 0.6 turnovers while shooting 56.5 percent from the field and 92.3 percent from the foul line. That's good for solid mid-round value in 8- and 9-cat leagues, so give him a look if you need a forward.

Sat Apr 14 201221:49James Singleton comes to life in 2nd half
James Singleton overcame a quiet first half to finish Saturday's game with 13 points, six rebounds, two assists, a steal, two blocks and a 3-pointer on 6-of-10 shooting.
He played 25 minutes and overcame the poor first half to play well the rest of the way. The Wizards only play three games next week, but Singleton is getting enough burn to be given a look. Cartier Martin cooled off tonight, hitting just 2-of-9 shots for six points in 24 minutes.

Sat Apr 14 201200:55Singleton grabs nine boards in blowout loss
James Singleton scored four points on 1-of-6 shooting with nine rebounds and a block in 20 minutes off the bench in Friday's blowout loss.
Singleton has been getting it done recently, averaging 9.2 points, 8.0 boards, 0.6 steals, and 0.6 blocks in his last five games. Even with the Wizards shooting 28 percent as a team and scoring only 65 points, it's somewhat impressive that Singleton could still be productive in his bench role.

Tue Apr 10 201222:07James Singleton continues hot start
James Singleton scored 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting to go along with eight rebounds as the Wizards upset the Magic on Tuesday.
Singleton, in just his fourth game with the team, has been tremendous off the bench, averaging 14 points per game and nine rebounds over his last three. He is certainly worth a pick up, although he could get bumped down on the depth chart once some healthy bodies return for the Wizards.

Mon Apr 9 201222:11Singleton goes for 18 and 12 against Bobcats
James Singleton scored 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting (6-of-7 from the foul line) with 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks in 37 minutes off the bench on Monday against the Bobcats.
Singleton posted 12 points, nine rebounds, and three assists in 26 minutes on Friday, and in this quirky season of 10-day guys exploding he'll be worth a desperation look -- but also be as risky as they come. Should the Wizards stay banged up and starter Chris Singleton stay in the 20 mpg range, there's a chance that Singleton or Cartier Martin (19 points) emerges with some value, but there's a ton that could go wrong. The first thing that comes to mind is playing a real NBA team unlike the Bobcats.

Singleton just wrapped up his season in China, where he averaged 17.8 points and 11.9 rebounds for the Guandong Southern Tigers. It's his second stint with the Wizards and he'll give frontcourt depth with both Trevor Booker (foot) and Nene (foot) hobbled.

Tue Sep 7 201009:37Singleton heads for China, McGee locked in
James Singleton said Monday he has signed with the Xinjiang Gyang Hui Flying Tigers of the Chinese League.
Singleton came out of nowhere last year to take playing time away from JaVale McGee. In 32 games after being traded from Dallas to Washington, the undersized rebounder averaged 6.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks as he made his way onto the fantasy radar. However, Singleton likely saw the writing on the wall with McGee's big summer and the signing of Hilton Armstrong. He'll make more money and get burn overseas.

Singleton is a casualty in the signing of Josh Howard, but there's still a decent chance they will be able to re-sign him once he clears waivers.

Sat Apr 10 201010:53James Singleton to return to Wizards?
James Singleton has said he would like to return to Washington next season.
Singleton is a high-energy player who will likely be pursued as an affordable backup big man. The Wizards may retain him but he could just as easily be crowded out by Andray Blatche and JaVale McGee.

Tue Apr 6 201021:49James Singleton quiet off Wiz bench
Wizards F James Singleton finished Tuesday's game with just one point and five rebounds in 21 minutes.
He was 0-of-5 from the field and --after a short-lived starting gig-- has fallen down the depth chart in recent weeks. If he's still on your roster, consider swapping him for JaVale McGee or someone else with upside.
