Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but The Vertical reported it to be a guaranteed two-year, $5 million contract.The 11-year veteran appeared in 62 games for the Phoenix Suns last season, averaging career highs in points (5.3), assists (2.4), rebounds (1.6), steals (1.19) and minutes played (19.5) per game. Price has appeared in 530 career NBA games, including stints with Sacramento, Utah, Portland, Orlando and the Los Angeles Lakers since coming out of Utah Valley State College. He holds career averages of 3.8 points, 1.8 assists 1.2 rebounds in 13.5 minutes per game.

Price (elbow) was among a slew of Suns players participating in voluntary workouts the past two weeks, the Arizona Central reports.

It's the first sign that he's fully recovered from elbow surgery that ended his 2014-15 season in late February. Price projects as the last point guard on the depth chart, and he shouldn't expect to play meaningful minutes this season.

Price will join the Suns on the veteran minimum, giving Phoenix more depth off the bench in the backcourt. Last season with the Lakers, Price played in 43 games, finishing with averages of 5.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.6 steals over 22.8 minutes per game. Despite making 20 starts for the Lakers, Price likely won't have that opportunity with the Suns, as he'll be behind Eric Bledsoe, who will absorb the majority of the minutes. Barring an injury higher up in the depth chart, Price shouldn't have much fantasy value moving forward.

Price played in 43 games and started 20 for the Lakers in his 10th NBA season before suffering from an right elbow injury that required season-ending surgery. He finished the season with career-high averages of 5.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 23 minutes.

Price's stint with the Lakers was the most productive he has ever been in his long NBA career. He benefited from being on a Los Angeles team thin with talent and likely would have continued to have a regular role within the rotation had he been able to stay healthy. Price never really had a stretch where he put up good numbers on a game-by-game basis, but tended to make the most of his time when he was on the floor. Price will now enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, and while he did show signs of life in his 2014-15 campaign, it won't be easy for him to find a destination where he will see a good amount of minutes. His fantasy value relies entirely on where he ends up next season.

The procedure entails a recovery period of 6-to-8 weeks, meaning Price will, in all likelihood, be done for the 2014-15 season. Unless the Lakers opt to make a move to pick up another point guard, Jordan Clarkson and Jeremy Lin should both see their respective fantasy values boosted for the rest of the season.

Almost all of Price's value comes in his ability to rack up assists, which was on full display Friday. Though the Lakers do not have a clear depth chart for their point guards, Price tends to get a relatively consistent workload. As long as he is playing more than 20 minutes per game, he has some value in most formats as an assist specialist.

Price is dealing with an elbow injury and will not play until after the All-Star break, the OC Register reports.

Price hasn't seen action on the court since since Jan. 25 and should be considered out until at least Feb. 20 against the Nets. Jordan Clarkson and Jeremy Lin are expected to see the minutes at point guard moving forward.

Price failed to play in Tuesday's loss to the Wizards, despite being available.

Price seems to be a victim of the Lakers trying to get more playing time and experience for their younger players. He was dealing with an elbow injury earlier this week, so that may have been a factor too, but either way it's looking as if he'll only play minutes in the low-to-mid twenties as long as Jordan Clarkson remains the starting point guard. If that's the case, he's very limited in his fantasy value.

Price (elbow) came off the bench Friday, and was held scoreless in 19 minutes of action, but did have six assists, three steals and a rebound.

Price has now been back for two games, but has a really tough time scoring. He's only made one basket in his past four appearances, and Jordan Clarkson has been slightly productive in the starting role. Unless Price cements himself as the starter in Los Angeles, he's not much of a fantasy option.

Price (elbow) will come off the bench Friday against the Spurs.

Jordan Clarkson will be inserted into the starting lineup as the Lakers will look to shake things up with Kobe Bryant possibly out for the season. Price's run as a starter could be in jeopardy over the long run if Clarkson plays well.
