Sat Jul 27 201313:58Gelabale could sign in Russia or Greece
Mickael Gelabale is reportedly the "prime target" for reigning Euroleague champions Olympicos, who are in need of a small forward.
As of Saturday, however, Gelabale didn't have an official offer and he was "very close to signing a contract in Russia." Cartier Martin had been the frontrunner for Olympiacos but the team seems to have cooled on him, and Gelabale has the advantage of extensive experience playing overseas.

Fri Jul 26 201309:15Mickael Gelabale wants to play in the NBA
Mickael Gelabale still wants to play in the NBA and he will not return to Valencia in Spain.
He's apparently sitting on an offer to play in Euroleague, but is going to exhaust his resources to stay in the NBA. Gelabale was waived on July 7 and there's little reason to believe he'll be picked up with multiple wings still on the market.

Sun Jul 7 201316:59Timberwolves waive Mickael Gelabale
Timberwolves waive G/F Mickael Gelabale.
The Wolves picked him up during the season and eventually signed him for the duration of the year on February 8. Gelabale was solid in his 17.9 minutes per game last season, scoring 5.0 points on 51.8 percent shooting. He might be headed back overseas next year.

Fri Jun 7 201309:27Wolves have until July 22 on Mickael Gelabale
The Timberwolves have until July 22 to decide whether or not to exercise the contract option on Mickael Gelabale.
Gelabale was signed by the Wolves after the team was ravaged by injuries this season, but he flashed the ability to contribute and make some solid plays during his time with the team. He could easily be brought back, but if he isn't, it's possible he'll decide to return to Europe where he had been playing before joining Minnesota last season.

Tue Mar 19 201301:20Mickael Gelabale scores 11 in 32 minutes
Mickael Gelabale played 32 minutes in Monday's loss to the Grizzlies, scoring 11 points with seven boards, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer.
He only played 18 minutes in Andrei Kirilenko's return on Sunday, so there's very little to like about Gelabale as a pickup in fantasy leagues.

Sun Mar 17 201321:53Kirilenko returns, shifts Gelabale to bench
As expected, Andrei Kirilenko's return shifted Mickael Gelabale to a bench role on Sunday, where he went scoreless in 18 minutes.
Gelabale wasn't even returning fantasy value as the starting SF, and this demotion seals his fate in fantasy leagues.

Fri Mar 15 201323:48Gelabale gets loose a little bit vs. Rockets
Mickael Gelabale scored 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds, five assists and one steal over 31 minutes on Friday against the Rockets.
Gelabale has been hit-or-miss and a game against the uptempo Rockets profiled well for him. The Wolves frontcourt is probable to return at some point, so there's really only short-term appeal in deeper formats.

Tue Mar 12 201323:46Mickael Gelabale cools off in easy win
Mickael Gelabale hit 2-of-5 shots for five points, five rebounds and a 3-pointer in 26 minutes in another start for the Wolves on Tuesday.
He had 19 points on Saturday, but was on fire that night, hitting 8-of-10 shots. He'll be worth monitoring closely until Andrei Kirilenko returns, which could happen some time later in the week. Kirilenko has already been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.

Mon Mar 11 201309:04Adelman wants Gelabale to be more aggressive
Rick Adelman wants Mickael Gelabale to be more aggressive.
"We talked to him about being more aggressive," Adelman said. "I think he was just trying to fit in. But we need him to make shots." Gelabale started the last two games for the Wolves and is averaging 16 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 steals during that span.

Sat Mar 9 201323:50Mickael Gelabale pours in season-high 19 pts
Mickael Gelabale started at SF and scored a season-high 19 points vs. Denver on Saturday, hitting 8-of-10 FGs with two 3-pointers, four rebounds, three assists and one block in 31 minutes.
Gelabale, who was drafted by the Sonics back in 2005, hadn't scored double-digit points in nearly a month. He's getting extra opportunities with Andrei Kirilenko (calf) on the shelf, yet he's still a major gamble with minimal upside for fantasy owners.

Fri Feb 8 201308:46Mickael Gelabale likely to stick with Wolves
Mickael Gelabale is likely to remain with the Timberwolves for the rest of the season.
The team will have to make a decision on Gelabale, who is on his second 10-day contract, and with all of the injuries Minnesota has sustained this season, Gelabale is in a good spot to remain with the club.

Wed Feb 6 201319:57Gelabale expected to start on Wednesday
Mickael Gelabale is expected to start for the injured Andrei Kirilenko on Wednesday.
He's had some blips on the radar with a 15-point game on January 25 and also played 20.0 minutes per game in his last two contests. Gelabale is only worth a look in extremely deep leagues.

Wed Feb 6 201313:49Mickael Gelabale dealing with quad injury
Mickael Gelabale said that he's not 100 percent healthy and is currently dealing with a quad injury.
The Wolves just can't catch a break with injuries. He's fully expected to continue playing through the concern, but the last thing Minnesota needs is another injury on the wing. Without Andrei Kirilenko (quad) on Wednesday, Gelabale should see some decent run. Nikola Pekvoic (groin) also reiterated that he's not quite at 100 percent, either.

Timberwolves signed G/F Mickael Gelabale to a second 10-day contract.
The Wolves can now put off a long-term decision on Gelabale for another 10 days. In five games with the Wolves, he's averaged 7.6 points and 3.6 rebounds a night for the league's most injury-ravaged team.

Fri Jan 25 201321:40Mickael Gelabale scores 15 points off bench
Mickael Gelabale scored a season-high 15 points to go with seven boards, one assist, one steal and two turnovers in 26 minutes against the Wizards on Friday.
He was signed to a 10-day contract and the Wolves have played him 22.0 minutes per game in his four games. Gelabale was out of the league since 2008 and his contract will expire after this weekend. He's not worth picking up as anything besides a plug-and-play option in very deep leagues.

Sat Jan 19 201323:34Gelabale scores season-high 11 points
Michael Gelabale scored a season-high 11 points with four rebounds and one assist in Saturday's 92-79 win over the Rockets on Saturday.
He and Chris Johnson were hot in the fourth quarter and scored 23 of the team's 29 points in the frame. Gelabale isn't likely to be able to emerge and he's a big underdog to see a second 10-day contract.
