Fri Feb 1 201319:53Orioles not expected to sign Fernando Tatis
The Orioles are not expected to sign free agent infielder Fernando Tatis.
The 38-year-old worked out for the O's last week in the Dominican Republic. He hasn't played in the majors since the 2010 season, where he suffered a torn labrum in his right shoulder that ended his season. It's unlikely that he'll land a minor league deal.

Fernando Tatis worked out for the Orioles last week in the Dominican Republic.
Tatis is now 38 and hasn't played in the majors since 2010, when his season ended following surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder. The odds of him garnering a minor league deal aren't high.

Mets transferred infielder Fernando Tatis from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.

Mon Jul 5 201016:23Mets place Tatis (shoulder) on DL
Mets placed INF-OF Fernando Tatis on the 15-day disabled list with a right shoulder sprain.
More specifically, it is a sprain of the AC joint. Tatis, 35, is batting just .185/.254/.338 with two home runs and six RBI in 65 at-bats this season. Based on how little he has been used until this point, the Mets probably won't miss him too much.
