The Nuggets could re-sign guard Coby Karl once he clears waivers on Tuesday, even though they are the team that waived him.
The crux is that Karl would probably sign a partially guaranteed deal, as opposed to the fully-guaranteed deal he would have had. He is in position to become the first player in NBA history to play for a team coached by his father (George Karl).
