Pacers waived Blake Ahearn, Luke Nevill and Sundiata Gaines on Monday. |
Waiving both Gaines and Ahearn comes as a mild surprise since previously they were believed to be duking it out for the backup PG gig, but Indiana is likely going to give that job to Lance Stephenson instead. |

Thu Sep 6 2012 | 18:14 | Pacers announce deal with Blake Ahearn |
Pacers officially sign SG Blake Ahearn. |
The 6'2" guard will have to fight for a spot on the roster in training camp. If he's able to make the team, there isn't much depth behind Paul George at shooting guard and it would give him some opportunity. Ahearn will certainly have to improve on his 27.3 career field goal percentage in order to earn playing time. |

Tue Apr 10 2012 | 03:06 | Jazz sign Blake Ahearn to 10-day contract |
The Jazz signed guard Blake Ahearn to a 10-day contract on Monday. |
This is the time of year that 10-day guys go on shooting sprees, but that is unlikely to happen for a Jazz team playing for the playoffs. Ahearn is to be left on the wire in all leagues. |
