The 36-year-old will finish his 13-year career with a .247/.320/.369 batting line, 67 homers and 387 RBI.

Brian Schneider left the nightcap of Sunday's doubleheader against the Rays with a right ankle sprain after a collision at home plate.
Sean Rodriguez slammed into Schneider in the sixth. Schneider was slow to rise, tried to stay in the game, but ultimately took himself out one pitch later. Carlos Ruiz finished the game behind the dish.

They could have found an upgrade elsewhere, but the Phillies are apparently comfortable with him as Carlos Ruiz's primary backup catcher.
