Tue Apr 915:56Patrick Beverley Probable For Tuesday
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (ankle) is listed as probable for Tuesday's contest with the Boston Celtics. The 35-year-old has missed the last three games due to a sprained right ankle, but he will likely make his return to the court on Tuesday. Over his last 14 outings, he's averaged 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 21.7 minutes per game. Should the veteran point guard be unable to suit up, his next chance to return comes Wednesday versus the Orlando Magic.

Fri Apr 518:56Patrick Beverley Won't Play Against Toronto
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (wrist) will miss a second consecutive contest on Friday against Toronto. The team has downgraded him from doubtful to out. Pat Connaughton started in Beverley's place on Wednesday against Memphis, but Damian Lillard (groin) is back in the lineup on Friday, meaning Connaughton will only have minimal fantasy value. Beverley's next chance to return comes on Sunday versus the Knicks.

Thu Apr 422:08Patrick Beverley Listed As Questionable For Friday
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (ankle) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Toronto Raptors. He missed Wednesday's tilt due to an ankle sprain and is in danger of missing a second consecutive contest. If the 35-year-old veteran guard is able to suit up, Pat Connaughton could see more time on the bench. However, Beverley will not make an impact in fantasy hoops versus the Raptors.

Wed Apr 318:40Patrick Beverley Out On Wednesday
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (ankle) will sit out Wednesday's matchup against Memphis. He injured his right ankle against Washington on Tuesday and exits the lineup after already playing with a wrist problem. The Bucks also won't have Damian Lillard (groin) on Wednesday, which leaves AJ Green and TyTy Washington Jr. as the lone options at point guard. The two have previously combined for only three career starts.

Tue Apr 209:50Patrick Beverley On Track To Play Versus Washington
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (wrist) is considered probable for Tuesday's clash with the Wizards. He's carried the tag ahead of a couple of games now but has featured in both. Beverly had a large part to play in the last game as well, with Damian Lillard (groin) absent from the lineup for personal reasons. Lillard will be missing again on Tuesday due to a groin injury, giving Beverley another opportunity to put in a big shift. He notched 18 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one block in 36 minutes against Atlanta on Saturday. The veteran faces another leaky defense on Tuesday, so Beverley could cook up a good all-around fantasy line again.

Sat Mar 3009:45Patrick Beverley Probable For Saturday's Game
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (wrist) is considered probable for Saturday's action against the Hawks. The veteran guard missed a game against the Lakers earlier in the week with a right wrist sprain but played through the ailment on Thursday night versus New Orleans. Beverley missed all four shots against the Pelicans while playing only seven minutes, but he is expected to be in the lineup again on Saturday. The Bucks can use Beverley to slow down the in-form Dejounte Murray a bit, but he hasn't carried a lot of fantasy value for most of the campaign.

Thu Mar 1419:00Patrick Beverley Good To Go Thursday
Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley (hip) is available for Thursday's showdown with Philadelphia. The journeyman played 27 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Kings. However, he was added to the injury report heading into this contest because of right hip soreness. That said, Beverley's fantasy ceiling isn't high under normal circumstances. But with Khris Middleton (ankle) and Malik Beasley (back) sidelined, Beverley has value potential for DFS managers.

Wed Mar 1322:52Patrick Beverley Probable Thursday
Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley (hip) is listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. A month ago, the Bucks acquired Beverley from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for guard Cameron Payne and a 2027 second-round pick. Should the 35-year-old's right hip soreness be under control for Thursday, he could have an uptick in minutes with guard Malik Beasley (back) listed as questionable. However, Beverley will likely not make much of an impact in fantasy play going up against his former team.

Thu Feb 819:43Patrick Beverley Traded To Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks have made a move to bring in some help on perimeter defense. On Thursday, the Bucks acquired guard Patrick Beverley from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for guard Cameron Payne and a 2027 second-round pick. Beverley figures to be the primary backup guard to Damian Lillard on the depth chart. He's an above-average defender and a solid all around player to have on the roster. However, it's unlikely that Beverley gets enough playing time to warrant in standard 12-team fantasy formats.

Thu Jan 2509:52Patrick Beverley Available Again Thursday
Philadelphia 76ers point guard Patrick Beverley (illness) is set to return to action Thursday versus Indiana. The veteran has missed the past two games with an illness but isn't on the injury report ahead of Thursday's game. Beverley has had an elevated role lately due to the absence of De'Anthony Melton (back), who will continue to sit on Thursday. From a fantasy perspective, it's an excellent matchup for Beverley and the Sixers, as the Pacers play an up-tempo game and allow the third-most points per game in the league.

Mon Jan 2207:02Patrick Beverley Set To Return On Monday
Philadelphia 76ers point guard Patrick Beverley (illness) is probable for Monday's matchup against the Spurs. Beverley couldn't play Saturday versus Charlotte because of an illness, but it looks likely he will be back on the court against San Antonio. The veteran has received some extra burn recently due to the absence of De'Anthony Melton (back). Beverley and the rest of the Sixers bench could have a busier night than usual on Monday, as the bookies have Philadelphia as a 13.5-point favorite for the contest.

Fri Dec 22 202316:04Patrick Beverley Tagged As Questionable On Friday
Philadelphia 76ers guard Patrick Beverley (heel) has received a questionable tag for their Friday night contest against the Toronto Raptors. Since De'Anthony Melton (thigh) is also marked as questionable, this could leave the Sixers' backcourt very thin. Beverley is a candidate to move into the starting lineup if Melton can't suit up, so fantasy managers will need to check back before tip-off to see if either one of them will be playing. If Beverley can't suit up, Jaden Springer will see some added minutes while Danuel House Jr. and Furkan Korkmaz could both see some minutes in the backcourt as well.

Beverley also went on to state he believes James Harden will be joining him in Houston. There were several reports Houston is the likely destination for Harden this offseason and the Rockets could be in for a huge shakeup.

Fri Feb 10 202313:152023 NBA Trade Deadline Breakdown - Fantasy Basketball Impacts
The NBA trade deadline has officially come and gone and we had one of the most active deadlines in recent memory with some big stars being dealt. Kyrie, KD, and Westbrook are all heading to new teams and we have been covering those trades and their fantasy impacts here at RotoBaller. But there were plenty of other lesser-known players who were dealt in the last few days and I wanted to go through and make sure we don't overlook some of these trades as some of those deals may even have more fantasy impact than the big moves. So here are some other trades that went down and my two cents on the increase or decrease in value that we should expect from the players involved for the remainder of the 2022-2023 fantasy basketball season.

Moves That Matter

These are very much in order of how much they matter. Let's start with the Spurs sending their starting center back up North where he started his career.Jakob Poeltl to the RaptorsI am a huge Poeltl fan and was close to acquiring him on multiple teams before the deadline. It was a curious move by Toronto to be buyers instead of sellers at the deadline, but Poeltl gives them the presence at the five they have been lacking all season and allows Siakam to shift over and play PF where he belongs.Poeltl is no longer a shutdown candidate and has legit top-50 upside with his multi-category abilities. His departure also makes ... [More]
Fri Feb 10 202309:25Navigating The Clippers Trade Deadline Moves - Fantasy Basketball Impact
The Los Angeles Clippers are in the heat of the congested Western Conference playoff race and were one of the more active franchises during Thursday's trade deadline. The Clippers had some glaring needs, specifically at the point guard position, and needed to surround their star forwards, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, with more talent to compete in the loaded Western Conference. The Clippers were able to execute three separate trades on Thursday. First off, the Clippers were able to secure Bones Hyland from the Denver Nuggets for a couple of second-round picks. Then, they set their eyes on veteran guard Eric Gordon in a three-team trade, sending off John Wall to the Houston Rockets and Luke Kennard to the Memphis Grizzlies. Lastly, the Clippers moved ... Thu Feb 9 202322:16Russell Westbrook Traded To Jazz - Fantasy Basketball Impact
The Russell Westbrook experiment in Los Angeles has been less than ideal over the past two years and has officially come to an end. With the West stocking up everywhere, the Lakers knew they had to make a splash in order to make a push to the playoffs. The Lakers executed a three-team trade with the Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves, involving a total of eight players and multiple draft picks Wednesday night. The Lakers sent Russell Westbrook, Juan Tuscano-Anderson, and Damian Jones to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt while also acquiring D'Angelo Russell from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Jazz also sent Mike Conley and Nickeil Alexander-Walker to the Timberwolves while accumulating even more draft capital. So just what is the fantasy basketball fallout of this blockbuster trade? Let's examine how each of the teams and players in the deal may be affected going forward.

Fantasy Basketball Fallout: Russell Westbrook

Westbrook is expected to be bought out from Utah and enter free agency. There are already rumors of teams interested in the veteran point guard, including the Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, and Chicago Bulls. If Westbrook were to be claimed, he would likely be given a prominent role immediately given these three teams are all lacking in the point guard position. Westbrook's caveat has always been his personality fit so it remains to be seen how well he can mesh with his new team if he is claimed.

Fantasy Basketball Fallout: Lakers

The Lakers get some much-needed spacing and size with the additions of Russell, Beasley, and Vanderbilt. Russell is shooting a career-high 39.1 percent from three while averaging 17.9 points, 6.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game this season. Russell should absorb Westbrook's minutes and will likely start at point guard over ... [More]
Thu Feb 9 202317:37Patrick Beverley On The Move To Orlando
According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, Patrick Beverley has been traded to the Orlando Magic for Mo Bamba. This will be the 34-year-old's fourth team in three seasons and his fifth team overall. He currently has some value in deeper leagues for teams that are desperate for threes, assists, or steals. That value could take a hit though as heads to a team that has a logjam in the backcourt with six different guards that can play either spot. Fantasy managers will want to wait to see if there could be a buyout or a rotation change before taking a flyer on Beverley.

Mon Jan 16 202318:05Patrick Beverley Removed From Injury Report
Los Angeles Lakers guard Patrick Beverley (illness) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Monday's game against the Houston Rockets. The veteran guard has missed each of the last two games due to a non-COVID related illness. He has also been dealing with a hip issue, but appears to be good to go on Monday. Fellow teammates LeBron James (ankle) and Troy Brown Jr. (quad) are banged up heading into this contest. Beverley would see increased value if one of those players were forced to sit out.

Wed Jan 11 202320:45Patrick Beverley Tagged As Questionable For Thursday
Los Angeles Lakers guard Patrick Beverley (illness, hip) is currently listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. He was forced to exit early during Monday's game and sat out of Wednesday's practice. It sounds like the illness is what kept Beverley out of practice on Wednesday. That being said, fantasy managers are likely going to have to wait until Thursday to see how Beverley is feeling. Austin Reaves and Dennis Schroder would likely benefit the most if Beverley is unable to play on Thursday.

Tue Jan 10 202308:02Patrick Beverley Misses Second Half With Injury
Los Angeles Lakers guard Patrick Beverley sat out the whole second half against Denver on Monday after suffering a right hip injury. He went scoreless in the contest and had one rebound and one steal in 12 minutes. Beverley doesn't do a lot on a nightly basis, but he has been a regular starter for the Lakers and the injury-hit team will be forced into yet another change in the starting unit if the veteran guard needs time off to recover. Kendrick Nunn started the second half in Beverley's place on Monday and showed plenty of fantasy promise, scoring 15 points and picking up three steals in 24 minutes.
