Thornton tallied 17 points, five rebounds, one assist, and two steals in a preseason 123-119 loss to the Magic on Sunday.

Thornton seems to be wandering from team to team in the back-none of his career and this fit doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Not only does he do the same things as Jason Terry, he'll be deep in the rotation with all the guard depth the Rockets currently have. It's tough to see Thornton cracking a significant role with the team and his value is limited at best.

Thornton likely won't see much of a boost in minutes by coming to the Rockets, as James Harden sits above him in the depth chart. Expect him to remain very limited in his fantasy value moving forward.
