Price, who was waived by the Pacers on Friday, will return to the Cavaliers, the team with which he spent the preseason. Fri Nov 28 201411:45Price waived by Pacers
Price has been waived by the Pacers, Nat Newell of USA Today reports.
Price had some solid games earlier in the season, but was ultimately expendable when some of Indiana's more prominent players returned from injury. Any team can now attempt to claim Price off waivers, and if he clears will be free to sign with any team.

Price scored 21 points (7-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT) in 24 minutes in the win over Chicago on Saturday.

Price put up 14 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, four assists, and one steal during his 24 minutes off the bench Friday against the Nuggets.
Price is making a case for his ownership in deeper leagues as he continues to impress in Indiana. The only problem with locking up Price is that he's expendable when George Hill (knee) and Rodney Stuckey (foot) return from their bouts with injuries, both of which are expected back in the coming week.

Price had nine points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with four assists in 18 minutes in his second game with the Pacers on Saturday in the loss to Washington.
Price signed last week with the Pacers and was immediately thrust into reserve minutes. He has provided four assists in each game with Indiana and could be a player to watch with the injury-ravaged Indiana team.

Price is expected to see playing time in Friday's game against the Celtics.
Price signed with the Pacers on Thursday so he may ultimately be limited on the court when considering that he's barely been with the team for 24 hours. He and Donald Sloan will likely split time at point guard Friday.
Thu Nov 6 201412:29Price expected to sign with Pacers on Thursday
Price is expected to sign with the Pacers on Thursday, Yahoo! Sports' Marc Spears reports.
The Pacers initially attempted to sign Gal Mekel, who was released by the Mavericks, earlier in the week, but a visa issue has apparently prevented that from happening. Indiana will instead look to Price, who appeared in 28 games for the Timberwolves last season. The UConn product was a second-round pick of the Pacers in 2009, and he spent his first three NBA seasons in Indiana, seeing time in 150 games. His familiarity with coach Frank Vogel's system should allow him to slide into the rotation while the team deals with a number of key injuries.

Price survived the final cuts of the preseason and will be a part of the opening day roster for Cleveland, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Price spent 2013-14 with the Timberwolves where he averaged 1.6 points in 3.5 minutes over 28 games. The 6-2 former UConn Huskies will provide point guard depth for Cleveland, but likely won't play enough minutes to be fantasy relevant.
Thu Apr 3 201412:37A.J. Price gets waived on Thursday
Timberwolves waive A.J. Price.
He had an appendectomy in the middle of last month and still hasn't made it back on the court, but was out of the rotation anyway. There are a couple things that come to mind with this move: Ricky Rubio's ankle is likely fine and the Wolves are probably looking to add a big man instead of another guard on the end of their bench. Dante Cunningham has legal trouble and Nikola Pekovic (ankle) is a shut-down candidate. Price played just 3.5 minutes per game with the Wolves this season.

Fri Mar 14 201418:15A.J. Price still out for appendectomy
A.J. Price (appendectomy) is not with the team for Friday's game.
He doesn't have a timetable to return and the Wolves won't miss his 3.5 minutes per game this season. Price has zero fantasy value.

Mon Mar 10 201414:00A.J. Price sidelined after appendectomy
Wolves guard A.J. Price recently had an appendectomy and there is no timetable for his return.
He's played exactly one minute in March and his absence shouldn't have any impact on fantasy rosters or the Wolves' rotations. J.J. Barea will continue to serve as Ricky Rubio's primary backup at PG.

Fri Sep 27 201312:52A.J. Price going to Timberwolves camp
Point guard A.J. Price has been invited to Timberwolves training camp.
The Wolves have 14 players under contract, but could waive Chris Johnson, who was signed by David Kahn for just $916,000, which would clear up two available spots. Price could easily win one of them, but will compete with Lorenzo Brown. And if Johnson is waived, SG Othyus Jeffers could be signed as a defensive specialist.

Thu Sep 26 201322:55Wolves expected to add A.J. Price
A.J. Price is expected to join the Wolves for training camp.
He had 22 starts at point guard last year with the Wizards while John Wall was on the mend, but didn't do much and made just 38.5 percent of his shots in those games. Price will compete for the third-string job behind Ricky Rubio and J.J. Barea.

A.J. Price is drawing interest from FC Barcelona, according to a Spanish media report.
Despite a strong finish to the season, Price has gone unsigned since hitting free agency this summer and hasn't really drawn a ton of interest around the league. The report said there's been no contract offer from Barca just yet, just interest at this point.

A.J. Price tied a career high in scoring with 23 points and hit a season-high five 3-pointers in the Wizards' loss on Wednesday.
Price hit 8-of-12 shots in 32 minutes off the bench in his best game of the season and has now hit double digits in scoring in three straight games. Unfortunately, he's not likely to have another game like this again this season, but he could still continue to see heavy minutes as the season winds to an end and he tries to set himself up to re-sign with the Wizards for next season.

Fri Apr 5 201309:17A.J. Price reiterates desire to stay w/ WAS
A.J. Price reiterated his desire to re-sign with the Wizards after the season.
"I definitely want to be here, I've expressed that many a time," he said. Price also admitted he won't be fully healthy until after the season as he plays through his groin injury. Most notably, John Wall wants Price to return next season, and an endorsement from the franchise star might be enough for Price to return.
