Anderson provided the Kings' summer league team 12.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 23.3 minutes per game.
Anderson, fresh off a stint in Lithuanian, played three games in Las Vegas. Even though he shot 64 percent from the field, he only connected on 1-of-6 three-pointers. During his time in Lithuania, Anderson was an all-star and led his team to the championship while averaging 14.5 points per game. His struggles with the three-ball have plagued him most of his NBA career, and his 33 percent accuracy in Lithuania mirrored his career mark in the NBA.
Wed Jul 8 201509:23Anderson aims to improve three-point accuracy heading into 2015-...
Anderson aims to improve his three-point accuracy heading into the 2015-16 season, Rui Thomas of the Cowbell Kingdom reports.
Anderson spent the 2014-15 season in Lithuania and shot 33 percent from the international three-point line. The previous season in 80 games with the 76ers, Anderson made a team-high 115 threes at a 33-percent clip. Even if he were to become a league-average shooter, his pathway to minutes is clouded with the signings of Marco Bellineli and Omri Casspi, both above average three-point shooters in their own right.
Thu Jul 2 201513:22Anderson agreed to multi-year deal with Kings on Thursday
Anderson agreed to a multi-year deal with the Kings on Thursday, Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Anderson spent last season in Lithuania, averaging 14.5 points and 5.1 rebounds in 28.4 minutes per game. The former first-round pick out of Oklahoma State has played for three NBA teams, most recently appearing in 80 games for the 76ers during the 2013-14 campaign.
Tue Aug 5 201409:09Anderson signed one-year contract with Zalgiris Kaunas
Anderson signed a one-year contract with Zalgiris Kaunas, the champion of the Lithuanian League, Sportando reports.
For the first time in his career, the former Oklahoma State Cowboy received big minutes for the 76ers in 2013-14. He doubled his previous career high with 10.1 points, but was still cut by Philadelphia. Anderson could be back in the NBA at some point.
Mon Jun 30 201418:47Report: 76ers waive James Anderson
The 76ers have waived James Anderson, according to sources.
This move opens up the door for rookie K.J McDaniels, and gives a boost to Tony Wroten. It will be interesting to watch the rotations develop over training camp, but as for James Anderson, he probably left the best possible situation from a fantasy perspective.

Wed Apr 9 201422:50James Anderson scores 17 with 5 treys
James Anderson hit 6-of-14 shots and five 3-pointers for 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and a block in Wednesday's loss to the Raptors.
Anderson has been hit-or-miss all season and had scored a total of 12 points over his previous three games, so don't kick yourself if you didn't see this coming. No one did.

Wed Apr 2 201422:25James Anderson bottoms out vs. CHA
James Anderson had zero points, three rebound and two assists in Wednesday's blowout loss to the Bobcats.
In Anderson's last four games, he's scored 30, five, 19 and then zero points. There's going to be some inconsistency here because Anderson is simply not a legit NBA starter and Tony Wroten is going to get plenty of time off the bench. Owners in search of 3-pointers need to be willing to ride the waves.

Sat Mar 29 201422:02Jame Anderson scores five points vs. DET
James Anderson shot 2-of-8 from the field for five points with four boards, three assists, two steals and one 3-pointer vs. the Pistons on Saturday.
He suffered what looked to be a small bruise to his knee and did not miss time. Anderson was coming off a huge 30-point game on Friday, but he couldn't hit his shots. Still, the steals, trey and stats in other areas made this a somewhat respectable line. He's worth owning in standard leagues as a low-upside, consistent guy.

Sat Mar 22 201423:10James Anderson quiet in start for Sixers
James Anderson hit just 2-of-5 shots for seven points, four rebounds and one assist in Saturday's loss.
He will get two more chances to shine while Tony Wroten sits with a sprained ankle, but given tonight's dud, he's far from trustworthy right now.

Sat Mar 22 201400:14Anderson (thigh) returns to action on Friday
James Anderson (thigh) returned to action in Friday's loss, scoring eight points on 3-of-14 shooting (1-of-10 from deep) with six rebounds, one assist and two steals in 35 minutes.
Anderson made a bad pass late that sealed the Sixers' 23rd straight loss but in general he's back on the floor and that means he projects to be a late-round value. Tony Wroten (ankle) will not travel with the team for Saturday's game and he left the arena on crutches, but these two guys will both get their fill of minutes if they're healthy and/or the Sixers aren't tanking too hard on any given night.

Fri Mar 21 201417:21James Anderson (quad) will play, likely start
James Anderson (thigh) will play against the Knicks on Friday.
He is expected to start which will bump Tony Wroten back to the bench. Anderson played 36.0 minutes per game in his two games before missing two due to his quad bruise, so he should be back over 30 tonight. Hollis Thompson should see the largest decrease in minutes from his 41 on Monday.

Fri Mar 21 201410:23James Anderson listed as a game-time call
James Anderson (thigh) listed as a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Knicks.
On Wednesday night, Anderson said the "plan" is to return Friday. We'll see. It's a situation for Tony Wroten owners to watch closely as his minutes skyrocket when Anderson is sidelined. Wroten is averaging 17.0 points, 5.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 3-pointers while playing 39.5 minutes over the last two games. He's far more explosive and aggressive than Anderson.

Wed Mar 19 201417:33James Anderson (quad) out vs. Chicago
James Anderson (thigh) will not play against the Bulls on Wednesday.
It will be his second game in a row out of the lineup and it's not a surprise. The Sixers have lost a franchise-record 21 games in a row and have little reason to play Anderson. Tony Wroten will step in as the starter again, but his first game didn't go well due to shooting only 7-of-18 from the field. Hollis Thompson should be more involved in the offense in a tough matchup.

Wed Mar 19 201416:54James Anderson listed as starter for Wed.
James Anderson (thigh) is listed as a probable starter for Wednesday's game vs. the Bulls.
This does not mean he'll be playing and we'll wait for coach Brett Brown and the Sixers to pass along any other official info. Hollis Thompson scored 17 points on Monday in a very close game at Indiana and would stand to benefit sans Anderson. Tony Wroten would also get some extra shots should Anderson sit.

Mon Mar 17 201411:27James Anderson (thigh) doesn't travel Monday
James Anderson (bruised thigh) didn't travel with the Sixers for Monday's game in Indiana.
One of the Sixers few productive players will be on the sidelines against an elite Pacers team, and anyone playing daily fantasy sports should be mindful that a blowout is all but certain. Anderson's injury may be part of the reason Philly recently signed Darius Johnson-Odom and James Nunnally to 10-day contracts.
