Johnson, a free agent, was asked by the Nets to sit out summer league in case he was a part of a Dwight Howard trade, so he didn't get the opportunity to audition in front of scouts. However, that hasn't dissuaded Johnson's confidence. "I've been talking to some teams," he said. "I'm working my butt off in the gym to be ready for camp, and I'm going to take advantage of whatever opportunity I get." He'll offer no fantasy value regardless of where he lands. |

Armon Johnson, who has been praised by just about everybody around the Blazers, had his first really bad night on Saturday, with six turnovers and only a steal and an assist in 12 minutes. |
It's been thought that he could start cutting into Andre Miller's (six points, 13 assists, 34 minutes) playing time, but it looks like that's not such a sure bet after tonight. Either way, it's something to watch for, but Miller's owners shouldn't react until Johnson can be consistent. |
