Sloan signed with the Nets on Monday, the team's official site reports.

Sloan, who averaged 7.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game in 53 games during the 2014-15 season with the Pacers, will compete with Jarrett Jack, Shane Larkin, and Ryan Boatright for minutes at point guard in Brooklyn's backcourt. The terms of Sloan's contract were not released, per team policy.

Sloan averaged 7.4 points (41% FG, 31% 3 Pt, 78% FT), 0.8 three-pointers, 3.6 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.4 steals in 21 minutes per game for 53 regular season games during 2014-15. He will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Sloan is a bit of journeyman, having played on four different teams over the last four years. In his second season with the Pacers, Sloan was at his best when George Hill and C.J. Watson were out with injuries. Through November, Sloan averaged 11.8 points, 1.4 three-pointers, 5.1 assists, 4.2 rebounds, and 0.5 steals in 32 minutes per game as the starting point guard. His minutes plummeted after the All-Star break, though, once George Hill was fully recovered. Entering free agency, the 27-year-old point guard hopes to land on a team where he can get more playing time.

Sloan (toe) was limited to 10 scoreless minutes (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) with two assists in the double-overtime win against Washington on Tuesday.

Sloan has only averaged 10.0 minutes in his last three games and has not scored. He has shown some ability to be a bench scorer with the Pacers this season, but it doesn't look like he was healthy enough to be productive.

Sloan (toe) is still "very sore" but he will try to play in Tuesday's game, the Indianapolis Star's Candace Buckner reports.

While he will try to play through the soreness in his toe, it would not be surprising to see him limited, and potentially benched if he's ineffective. Rodney Stuckey could see some time at backup point guard.

Sloan (toe) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against Washington.

Sloan played only eight minutes Sunday, and he's dealing with soreness in his right big toe. He'll test it out during Tuesday's pregame warmups before the training staff makes an official call.

Sloan (toe) played two minutes Monday against the Raptors and missed his only attempt from the field.

Sloan has produced when given playing time this season, but now that the Pacers backcourt is healthy, he is not playing much. At this time, he doesn't carry much fantasy value.

Sloan will be out Saturday against the Celtics with a sprained toe.

It's been a rough week for Sloan, who was recently limited with food poisoning. Given his rare minutes, his absence likely won't effect the team's rotation. After Saturday, Sloan's next chance to return will come in Monday's contest against the Raptors.

Sloan (illness) did play Tuesday, but only logged five minutes. He finished the game with two rebounds, one assist and no points.

Even if he's healthy, Sloan rarely plays. While he did have a 21-minute game earlier this month, he combined to play just 15 total minutes in February.

Sloan (illness) went through shootaround Tuesday and will play against the Magic.

Sloan was battling food poisoning Monday, but he was able to go through a full shootaround, and coach Frank Vogel said he's "good to go" versus the Magic. Sloan has been a DNP-CD in each of the last two games, but he played 21 minutes in Wednesday's win against the Knicks when C.J. Watson was hampered with elbow soreness.

Sloan is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Pacers due to food poisoning.

Sloan is no longer a member of the Pacers' rotation, so his status bares little impact on fantasy decisions. Nonetheless, food poisoning is nothing to take lightly, so we hope Sloan the best in making a speedy recovery from his illness.

Sloan logged a DNP-CD for Friday's game against the Bulls on Friday.

Sloan saw 21 minutes on the court against the Knicks on Wednesday but came back down to reality Friday as he was firmly planted on the bench. Barring injuries in Indiana, he's not expected to see much time on the court moving forward.

Sloan is expected to see a mild bump in minutes Wednesday as the primary backup point guard.

C.J. Watson will be available, but he's battling elbow soreness, so Sloan will serve as the primary option off the bench. That said, he isn't likely to see enough minutes to warrant consideration in daily formats.

Sloan scored 11 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3PT, 2-2 FT) and added three rebounds and five assists in 23 minutes against the Pistons on Friday.

Sloan has had an up and down season this year. The third year point guard started the season by earning more than 30 minutes a night, while producing as a top 15 point guard in fantasy. He was a great pickup for fantasy owners. Then the third year player found himself on the bench for poor play and because starter George Hill returned. Now the point guard is finding 20 minutes a night over his last five games while producing 9.6 points and 4.0 assists while shooting 51.4 percent from the field. It is unlikely Sloan will return to the production he had early in the season, but if he continues to share the ball while not turning the ball over, he should continue to find minutes for the Pacers.

Sloan had five points in 22 minutes coming off the bench Monday against. He added three assists and two rebounds in the contest.

Sloan had averaged 34.5 minutes as a starter, but still saw 22 minutes Monday. His production dropped off significantly, however, as he only attempted two field goals after taking at least 11 shots in his two previous games.

Sloan got the start at point guard for the ailing Pacer's backcourt Friday. He finished with 10 points (4-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt) eight rebounds, six assists and one steal in 33 minutes.

Sloan's production is based on the health of the players in front of him. When George Hill (groin) and C.J. Watson (foot) come back from injuries, Sloan is almost certain to return to his reserve role off the bench. Hill started and played 31 minutes Wednesday but was unable to go Friday.
