Adrien signed with the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Adrien will have to impress during training camp to be awarded a spot on the final 15-man roster when the regular season rolls around. He appeared in 17 games for the Timberwolves last season and will have to beat out the likes of Chris Douglas-Roberts, Luke Babbitt, and Alonzo Gee for a limited spot in the rotation, if he even makes the team.

Adrien is close to finalizing a one-year contract with the Pelicans, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Wed Jan 7 201517:07Jeff Adrien: Waived By Timberwolves
Adrien was waived by the Timberwolves on Wednesday, Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Adrient, who signed with Minnesota at the end of November, appeared in 17 games, averaging 3.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 12.6 minutes. Had he remained on the roster past Saturday, his contract would have become guaranteed for the remainder of the season. While Adrien figures to draw decent interest as a free agent, the Wolves could still attempt to bring him back on a 10-day contract.
Sun Dec 21 201417:56Adrien added to Wolves' roster on one-year
Adrien was added to the Wolves' roster on a one-year, non-guaranteed deal, Alan Horton of Wolves' Radio reports.
Adrien's most recent 10-day contract expired Friday, but with a roster spot open, the team has decided to keep him around on a more permanent basis. The undersized forward has played well in limited minutes and flashed the ability to rebound at an elite level. That said, his role is too inconsistent to warrant rostering in most formats.

Adrien scored three points with seven rebounds in 15 minutes in Friday's loss to Boston. His 10-day contract expired Friday and Minnesota hasn't said yet if he'll stay with the team, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
It seems likely the T-Wolves will sign him to another 10-day contract or for the rest of the season since Nikola Pekovic's return from an injury is uncertain.

Adrien played just five minutes and scored four points with two rebounds in Friday's loss to Oklahoma City.
Adrien played 26 minutes the previous game, but played fewer minutes than Anthony Bennett in Friday's game. Adrien's playing time will likely be inconsistent, but he there will be games where he'll be used at center as long as Ronny Turiaf and Nikola Pekovic remain out with injuries.
Thu Dec 11 201410:50Adrien signed to second 10-day contract
Adrien was signed to a second 10-day contract, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Adrien scored eight points with 11 rebounds in 26 minutes in Wednesday's win over Portland.

Sat Dec 6 201403:54Adrien scored two points with three rebounds in 16 minutes in Fr...
Adrien scored two points with three rebounds in 16 minutes in Friday's overtime loss to Houston.
Adrien was signed with a hardship exception for a 16th roster spot due to Minnesota having four players out with injury, but it looks like he'll get time off the bench over Robbie Hummel. He could make a case to stay on the roster, especially if Nikola Pekovic's injury becomes a long-term issue.
Sat Nov 29 201416:42Adrien signed with Timberwolves on Saturday
Adrien signed with the Timberwolves on Saturday.
The NBA granted Minnesota a hardship exception for a 16th roster spot due to having four players out with injury, and Adrien was the beneficiary. Adrien, 28, has averaged 4.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 14.2 minutes so far in his career (136 games) and will merely provide depth at small forward for the Timberwolves.
Mon Oct 27 201410:43Adrien waived by Rockets on Monday
Adrien was waived by the Rockets on Monday.
Adrien signed with the Rockets this summer, but played just 12.3 minutes per game during a mediocre preseason stint with Houston. The four-year pro will now look to catch on elsewhere with a team in need of a rugged rebounder.
Tue Jul 15 201413:49Houston Rockets sign F Jeff Adrien
Houston Rockets sign F Jeff Adrien.
Adrien will sign on a one-year, veteran minimum deal and provide the Rockets with some solid interior depth. The 28-year-old averaged 6.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks in 18.1 minutes per game with the Bucks during the 2013-14 season and has potential if he gets minutes, but his fantasy value is a bit limited as an end-of-rotation player with the Rockets.

Sun Jun 22 201418:33FA Jeff Adrien working out daily in Charlotte
Free agent PF Jeff Adrien has been working out "almost daily" at the Hornets' practice facility in Charlotte.
Adrien was traded from Charlotte to Milwaukee in February last season, where he proceeded to carve out a major role after Ersan Ilyasova was ruled out for the season with an ankle injury. Adrien even made 12 starts at PF, averaging 13.0 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.8 blocks, but he'll need an ideal situation to emerge with reliable fantasy value in 2014-15.

Wed Apr 9 201423:49Jeff Adrien double-doubles in loss
Jeff Adrien had 13 points, a career-high 17 rebounds, two steals and a block in Wednesday's loss to the 'Pacers.'
Adrien should have had a good game against the Pacers bench patrol, but he's playing well. He had 19 points and 12 boards on Sunday, and should be in all starting lineups the rest of the way.

Mon Mar 31 201423:27Adrien goes for 16 and eight vs. Pistons
Jeff Adrien scored 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds and no steals or blocks in 27 minutes on Monday against the Pistons.
Adrien played just 15 minutes on Saturday but this will help allay some fears that his role in the rotation was slipping. Unfortunately, he's not really providing much fantasy value, averaging just 10.4 points, 6.0 boards and 0.8 combined steals and blocks over the past seven games.

Sat Mar 29 201423:56Jeff Adrien plays just 15 minutes
Jeff Adrien played just 15 minutes vs. the Heat on Saturday during a blowout 88-67 loss with four points, three boards, one assist and one steal.
The Bucks looked horrible in the first half with just 29 points before recess and coach Larry Drew didn't want to play his starting big men much in the second half. The coach has sung the praises of Adrien all month, so this game should just be thrown out.

Thu Mar 27 201423:06Jeff Adrien has an okay game in win
Jeff Adrien scored eight points with nine boards, two assists and two blocks in 32 minutes vs. the Lakers on Thursday.
Now that Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) is out for the season, Adrien has a clear runway for minutes and looks like the big winner. He has some huge upside potential with per-36-minutes averages of 16.7 points, 12.1 boards, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks on 53.5 percent shooting in his time with the Bucks. The former Bobcat is worth owning in standard leagues right now.

Thu Mar 27 201418:34Jeff Adrien will start at PF w/ Ilyasova out
Jeff Adrien will continue to start at PF for the Bucks with Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) ruled out for the season.
In his lone start this season, Adrien scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 32 minutes of action, and his fantasy value is mostly limited to a handful of points, rebounds and steals. His starting job alongside Zaza Pachulia means that John Henson will continue to fill a reserve role, which is disappointing but somewhat predictable since the tanking Bucks are in a race to the bottom with the free-falling 76ers.

Tue Mar 25 201402:13Adrien goes for 14 and seven in start at PF
Jeff Adrien started for the Bucks in their closer-than-expected loss to the Clippers on Monday, scoring 14 points on 4-of-11 shooting with seven rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes.
Adrien looks good enough to be logging this many minutes on most nights but Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) will probably be back in the next one and Larry Drew is capable of decimating any of his guys on any given night. He hit 6-of-6 free throws to cap off the night and has put up low-end value in 12-14 team leagues over the last two weeks.

Fri Mar 21 201401:35Jeff Adrien scores 13 points vs. the Warriors
Jeff Adrien scored 13 points vs. the Warriors on Thursday with six boards, one assist, one steal and one block in 23 minutes.
He's playing a lot harder than Ersan Ilyasova and probably deserves more playing time than him, too. Adrien has accumulated some nice hustle stats while shooting an impressive 54 percent from the field in his time with the Bucks, so he's on the radar in 14- and 16-team leagues.

Thu Mar 20 201423:18Jeff Adrien gets a cut above left eye
Jeff Adrien went to the locker room for a left eye injury.
He checked back in with some bandaging above his eye. Considering what happened to Larry Sanders with a season-ending eye injury, this was probably a scary sight for the Bucks. Adrien is good to go, though.
