MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Memphis Grizzlies coach J.B. Bickerstaff says Chandler Parsons will be treated like any other player amid reports that the forward will rejoin his teammates after the All-Star break.The comments come a month after general manager Chris Wallace said Parsons had chosen to continue his rehabilitation in Los Angeles, putting his future with Memphis in doubt.Bickerstaff said Saturday at morning shoot-around that when Parsons comes back, "he's a part of the team like anybody else." (AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies have signed guard Shelvin Mack.Terms of the deals weren't disclosed.The 6-foot-3 Mack played 69 games for the Orlando Magic last season and averaged 6.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and a career-high 3.9 assists in 19.8 minutes. He shot 43 percent from the field and 34.5 percent from 3-point range.Mack, 28, has played 399 regular-season games and has career averages of 6.4 points, 2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 17.9 minutes. Utah Jazz point guard George Hill missed his second straight contest on Saturday when he sits out Game 3 of the Western Conference second-round series versus the visiting Golden State Warriors.Hill is being plagued by soreness in his left big toe that forced him to miss Thursday's 115-104 loss to Golden State."It's really just more a question of his effectiveness," Jazz coach Quin Snyder told the San Jose Mercury News. "He's missed games with this over the course of the season. What happens is there are situations within the course of the game where he either lands on it or pushes off and it aggravates it, and aggravates it to a point he is not able to be effective."Shelvin Mack started in place of Hill in Game 2, finishing with 14 points, three rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes. Dante Exum and Raul Neto are options off the bench for Snyder.Hill struggled in Utah's 106-94 series-opening loss to the Warriors, as he was limited to just seven points in 28 minutes after averaging 16.9 points and 4.2 assists during 49 regular-season games.

G Shelvin Mack is making a case to stick around on the court if the Jazz roster ever gets fully healthy in time for the playoffs. Mack scored several critical fourth-quarter baskets to help Utah edge the Wizards 95-88 on Friday night. The veteran finished with 15 points off the bench -- his second consecutive game in double figures after scoring 14 against Sacramento. For Mack, it is a 180-degree turn from recent months where he fell out of the rotation and then suffered a sprained ankle, complicating his efforts to return to the lineup. He has focused on playing aggressive when his number is called and doing what it takes to help the Jazz win. "I think I'm doing a great job of reading the game and reading the situation," Mack said. "Not really forcing anything, but just taking what the defense is giving me. I know, in certain parts to the game, we kind of struggled. The best thing for me is to just be aggressive."

G Shelvin Mack scored nine of his 14 points in the third quarter to help Utah hold off a big Sacramento rally. Mack came off the bench to make 5 of 8 shots, grab four rebounds and deflect five passes. He played 28 1/2 minutes in his longest stint since Jan. 5. Mack made his 16th consecutive start since coming off the bench in his first appearance for Utah on Feb. 21 against Portland. He played exclusively as a reserve with Atlanta before coming to the Jazz via trade on Feb. 18.
