Thomas (leg) returned to the court and played seven minutes and scored two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt).
Thomas only played in garbage time after missing the past two games. With the instability in the 76er rotation, Thomas could get playing time heading forward but his fantasy prospects remain limited.

Thomas left Friday's game with a right lower leg contusion and will not return.
While the Sixers are terrible, Thomas still does not play enough to be of much use in any but the deepest of leagues. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Thomas came off the bench during Friday's game against the Trail Blazers for just three minutes.
Thomas was acquired by the Sixers on Tuesday and will likely have a limited role off the bench moving forward. There's not much reason to believe that he'll see significant time on the court this season, although numerous injuries in Philadelphia could always change that.
Fri Dec 26 201416:05Thomas will be active for Friday's game against Portland
Thomas will be active for Friday's game against Portland, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Thomas was acquired by the Sixers on Tuesday and Friday's game against Portland will be the first chance he has to play since the signing. He's expected to play a limited role off the bench, although Philadelphia is currently dealing with a wave of injuries that may ultimately open up some opportunities for Thomas to play a larger role than at any other point in his four-year career, albeit still limited.
Tue Dec 23 201415:24Thomas re-signed with 76ers on Tuesday
Thomas re-signed with the 76ers on Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Thomas was waived in early November after finding out he'd sustained a knee injury that required surgery. Now recovered, Thomas will re-join the team and likely slot into a reserve role. In five games this season, Thomas averaged 4.4 points and 4.6 rebounds in 14.2 minutes.
Mon Nov 10 201414:59Thomas (knee) waived by Sixers on Monday
Thomas (knee) was waived by the Sixers on Monday, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Thomas, who signed with the Sixers just before the start of the regular season, recently decided he'll undergo surgery on his left knee, which will keep him out for roughly four weeks. As a non-guaranteed contract, Thomas was let go by Philadelphia, and he'll look to catch on with another team upon returning to full health. The D-League may be a more realistic option, however.

Thomas is expected to have surgery on his left knee and miss about four week, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
With Thomas not playing tonight, it will be the second game he will miss with a sore knee. It appears that the pain in his knee is simply too much to play through, and he has opted for surgery in an attempt to help relive that pain. It's probably safe to drop Thomas in nearly any league, since it is not clear if he will regain his 14.2 minutes per game when he returns to the lineup in a month.
Sun Nov 9 201413:32Thomas (knee) will not play Sunday against Raptors
Thomas (knee) will not play Sunday against the Raptors, Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Thomas is currently experiencing daily knee pain and needs to decide if he will have surgery on the knee or try to play through the pain. The longer that Thomas sits out these games, the more likely knee surgery that would keep him out a month will seem.

Thomas (knee) is trying to decide whether or not he should have surgery that would leave him sidelined for four weeks, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports
Thomas has a build up of fluid in his knee that is causing him pain. However, he's cleared to play through the pain if he doesn't want to miss any time away from the court. A decision will likely come in the near future, but Thomas had to sit out Friday's game because of soreness so it'd be hard to imagine him not having the surgery unless things heal by themselves in the coming days.
Fri Nov 7 201417:27Thomas (knee) will not play Friday against Bulls
Thomas (knee) will not play Friday against the Bulls, the Philly Inquirer reports.
Thomas has averaged 14 minutes per game this season for the Sixers, to go along with a career-best 4.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 0.2 blocks. The severity of the injury is unknown, so it's questionable how long the injury could take Thomas out for. He offers only minimal fantasy value, as he's somewhat buried on the depth chart.
Sat Oct 25 201422:50Thomas agreed to contract with 76ers on Saturday
Thomas agreed to a contract with the 76ers on Saturday, Yahoo Sports reports.

Sun Sep 28 201417:41Thomas waived by Celtics on Sunday
Thomas was waived by the Celtics on Sunday, Marc Stein of ESPN reports.
Thomas has spent time with the Jazz, Cavaliers, and Celtics this offseason. He'll now become a free agent searching for a new team that is looking to add depth to their bench. Regardless of where Thomas ends up, it's highly unlikely that the 25-year-old will be much of a factor this season.
Tue Jul 22 201419:03Utah sends Malcolm Thomas to the Cavs
Malcolm Thomas was traded to the Cavs on Tuesday.
He's almost a lock to be waived with a non-guaranteed contract or at least traded in another deal to help the money match up. Thomas looked great out there with the Jazz in Las Vegas and they may try to bring him back after he clears waivers. He should get a camp invite somewhere at the least.

Mon Jul 21 201411:44Malcolm Thomas could make the team
Assistant coach Brad Jones said Malcolm Thomas "had a really good week" at summer league.
Thomas ranked second on the Jazz in Vegas with his 11.8 points per game and started all five games. Thomas has a very good chance to make the team and they could use his hustle off the bench. Of course, he's no lock to make the rotation despite his improvement.

Sat Jan 25 201418:19Jazz claim PF Malcolm Thomas off waivers
The Jazz claimed F Malcolm Thomas off waivers on Saturday.
Thomas was recently waived by the Spurs, who weren't using him anyway, but he stands a better chance to crack the rotation in Utah. He is not a fantasy option in any formats.

Spurs waive F Malcolm Thomas
The injury-depleted Spurs have been looking to add Othyus Jeffers on a 10-day contract and this seems to be the move that will give them the roster space to do so. Thomas had only played one game so far this season, so this news shouldn't exactly send shock waves throughout the fantasy basketball landscape.

Sun Dec 29 201313:16Spurs send Thomas, De Colo to D-League
Malcolm Thomas and Nando De Colo have been re-assigned to the D-League.
The Spurs are making liberal use of the new D-League rules, which do not limit their ability to assign and re-call players from their single-affiliate team, the Austin Toros. It allows guys like Thomas and De Colo to get valuable experience they're otherwise missing as bench-warmers for the Spurs.

Thomas was averaging 19.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 35.5 minutes for the Austin Toros, however, he has no fantasy appeal in the NBA and can be ignored in all leagues.
