Fri Sep 25 201519:04Jeremy Tyler: Signs Training Camp Deal With Rockets
Tyler has signed a training camp deal with Houston, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Tyler last played in the NBA in the 2013-14 season, when he averaged 3.6 points and 2.7 rebounds over 9.7 MPG with the Knicks. With the Rockets having a well stocked front court, it's unlikely that Tyler makes the NBA roster out of camp.
Sun Oct 19 201419:32Tyler will be waived by Lakers so he can play overseas in China
Tyler will be waived by the Lakers so he can play overseas in China, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Tyler would have struggled to get any playing time on the Lakers this season, even if he did make the team, so it's not all too surprising that he's deciding to make money elsewhere. Considering the move, he obviously won't factor into fantasy this season.

Tyler scored his first points of the preseason, ending with six points (3-5 FG) and grabbed five rebounds, with an assists and a block in 11 minutes Sunday.
Tyler, who is on the Lakers' training camp roster took advantage of the fact that Ryan Kelly (hamstring) and Ed Davis weren't active to get among the scoring. He is a long shot to make the roster with so many frontcourt options already signed to guaranteed deals.
Tue Sep 23 201417:58Tyler signed to Lakers' training camp roster Tuesday
Tyler was signed to the Lakers' training camp roster Tuesday.
The Lakers don't have much need of added depth up front, so Tyler's chances of making the team out of camp are relatively slim.
Sat Sep 6 201420:16Tyler waived by Kings on Saturday
Tyler was waived by the Kings on Saturday, the Sacramento Bee reports.
Tyler, whose contract for the season was set to become guaranteed later this month, was acquired from the New York Knicks in a trade earlier this summer. The move will allow Sacramento to free up more space under the salary cap. Tyler will try to catch on with another team before training camps begin.
Wed Aug 6 201416:41Tyler dealt from Knicks to Kings on Wednesday
Tyler was dealt from the Knicks to the Kings on Wednesday, USA Today reports.
Tyler, a 23-year-old big man, played in just 41 games for the Knicks last season, posting averages of merely 3.6 points and 2.7 rebounds. At an athletic 6-10, 250 pounds, Tyler is a decent prospect, but is expected to be waived by the Kings.
Wed Mar 12 201414:44Jeremy Tyler heavily favored to start Wed.
Jeremy Tyler is expected to start against the Celtics on Wednesday.
With Amare Stoudemire (rest) and Tyson Chandler, The Knicks are out of options at center for the most part. On Monday without Chandler and STAT on the bench, Tyler played center for every other possession except for the last 43 seconds of garbage time. That playing time went to Cole Aldrich, who should get in the mix tonight and possibly start so coach Mike Woodson has something off the bench. In the small sample size, Tyler has been effective in pick and roll and has been solid in scoring on the offensive glass. He's far from a sure thing, but he has a chance to eclipse his season high of 23 minutes tonight.

Sat Feb 8 201401:12Jeremy Tyler puts up double-double
Jeremy Tyler put up his first double-double of the season on Friday with 12 points, 11 boards, two assists and one steal in 22 minutes.
It's the second double-double of his career with his first coming during his rookie season back in 2011-12. Tyler picked up some garbage time, but the good news is he's coming around and is actually developing some moves in the low post. If the Knicks suffer another injury, he'll be on the radar in some formats.

Thu Jan 30 201411:46Jeremy Tyler recalled from D-League
Jeremy Tyler has been recalled from the D-League BayHawks.
Tyler was sent down on Wednesday as a way to get him some more practice time during the Knicks' off day and will now rejoin the team on Thursday. Tyler is coming off his best game of the year during Tuesday's blowout win over Boston and, while those number were inflated by garbage time, he could provide some value for fantasy owners in deeper leagues if he is able to secure the backup center role behind Tyson Chandler.

Tue Jan 28 201423:10Jeremy Tyler goes for season-high 17 points
Jeremy Tyler scored a season-high 17 points to go along with five rebounds and two blocks on 7-of-9 shooting in 21 minutes off the bench on Tuesday.
He benefitted from some garbage time in the blowout, but had eight points and five rebounds against the Bobcats on Friday. It looks like he might have secured the backup center job with this performance, so owners in deeper leagues might want to take notice.

Sat Jan 25 201401:08Jeremy Tyler scores eight points vs. 'Cats
Jeremy Tyler scored a season-high eight points against the Bobcats during Friday's 125-96 win to go with five boards, one assist, one steal and two blocks.
He didn't look bad tonight and even caught an alley-lop from J.R. Smith. Tyler has some talent, but he's a bit of a mistake-prone guy and it will limit his minutes. He can be ignored in most leagues.

Fri Jan 17 201423:00Jeremy Tyler scores six points vs. LAC
Jeremy Tyler played 14 minutes against the Clippers on Friday with six points and two boards.
He made all three of his shots from the field and upped his season shooting percentage to a robot 80.0 percent. Tyler will be in the rotation while the Knicks are missing Kenyon Martin and Amare Stoudemire, but he's only an option in very deep leagues.

Fri Jan 17 201409:56Jeremy Tyler likely to rejoin Knicks rotation
Jeremy Tyler is likely to rejoin the Knicks' rotation.
With Amare Stoudemire and Kenyon Martin set to miss at least a couple games, Tyler stands to inherit some minutes backing up Tyson Chandler and Andrea Barnagni. The third year player is only averaging 2.8 minutes per game in January, however, so his fantasy value is limited to deeper leagues as he still may not see more than 10-12 minutes as an injury fill-in.

Wed Jan 1 201412:45Jeremy Tyler not guaranteed minutes w/ Knicks
Mike Woodson won't commit to play newly-signed center Jeremy Tyler, who is behind Tyson Chandler, Andrea Bargnani, Amare Stoudemire and Kenyon Martin on the depth chart.
"How much will [Tyler] play right now, I don't know," Woodson said. "He's got to get up to speed on what we're doing." Tyler is a non-entity for fantasy purposes, and he's unlikely to be more than a deep-league option even if a few injuries strike down guys above him in the rotation.

Tue Dec 31 201312:26Jeremy Tyler signs with New York Knicks
Jeremy Tyler signed with the New York Knicks on Tuesday.
Tyler has averaged 19.8 points and 11.4 points per game over his last five games with the D-League BayHawks, but the 22-year-old most likely won't see huge minutes for the Knicks. While fantasy owners in extremely deep leagues may want to keep an eye on Tyler, his fantasy value is limited for the time being.

Sun Dec 29 201315:43Knicks getting closer to signing Jeremy Tyler
The Knicks are getting closer to signing Jeremy Tyler.
They would either cut Chris Smith or Cole Aldrich to make room for Tyler. He had an impressive offseason and might have made the opening-day roster, but a foot injury forced him to take a detour to the D-League. He's not worth owning in almost any league just yet.

Sun Dec 29 201309:36Knicks consider re-signing Jeremy Tyler
The Knicks have "seriously considered" re-signing big man Jeremy Tyler this week.
Tyler has been averaging 18 points and 10 rebounds per game in the D-League and New York could use a healthy, active body in their frontcourt. The Knicks' already have 15 players on their roster and they'd likely be forced to cut Chris Smith to clear a spot for Tyler, who wouldn't have fantasy value as long as Tyson Chandler and Andrea Bargnani are healthy.

Mon Dec 16 201318:15Woodson hoping to bring Tyler up with Knicks
Coach Mike Woodson said he's hopeful he can bring up Jeremy Tyler (foot) to play with the Knicks at some point.
He had been dealing with a foot injury and it may have cost him a spot on the opening-night roster. Tyler is playing well in the D-League with averages of 17.4 points and 6.3 boards in three games so far this season. He's not worth stashing in almost any league despite an impressive offseason.

Wed Nov 20 201315:58Jeremy Tyler targeting December return
Jeremy Tyler (foot) is targeting a December return to play in the D-League.
The Knick waived Tyler after training camp due to the injury, or else he might actually be in the rotation with Tyson Chandler out. To be clear, Tyler has a long way to go to get back with the Knicks and he'll have to prove himself with the Erie Bayhawks.

Wed Nov 6 201309:21Jeremy Tyler (knee) may eventually rejoin NYK
Jeremy Tyler (knee) may re-sign with the Knicks once he's healthy.
The Knicks would reportedly like to sign him and have him play in the D-League until he's ready to join the team. He's "about a month away" from playing on any level, but New York's search for competent backup big men took on new urgency when Tyson Chandler left Tuesday's game with a knee injury.
