Mon Jul 7 201416:02Raptors waive guard Julyan Stone
The Raptors have waived guard Julyan Stone.
The move was expected as the Raptors had until midnight on Monday to waive Stone, or else his $948k salary would have become fully guaranteed. Through three season of NBA action Stone has scored a total of 61 points, clearly he is not a name that is on the fantasy landscape.

Mon Jul 7 201401:38Raptors face deadline w/ PG Julyan Stone
The Raptors have until midnight on Monday to waive backup PG Julyan Stone, or else his $948k salary will become fully guaranteed.
Stone's minimum-salary deal isn't unreasonable but Toronto may not need him with Kyle Lowry locked up and restricted FA Greivis Vasquez yet to present the Raptors with an offer sheet. If they do end up waiving him it may be to clear a spot on their active roster for a player more likely to crack the rotation.

Sun Oct 27 201323:26Julyan Stone (hip) back in action for Raptors
Julyan Stone (hip) practiced on Sunday and expects to be healthy for the Raptors' season opener.
That's not to say that he expects to play, as he's fighting for backup PG minutes with Dwight Buycks and D.J. Augustin.

Thu Oct 24 201314:21Julyan Stone still dealing with hip issues
Julyan Stone is still sore after taking a knee to his surgically repaired hip.
He played just three minutes on Wednesday night before leaving the game. Stone has been a no-show this month with his 18.4 field goal percentage and missing a wide-open breakaway dunk. He's not in the conversation as a fantasy asset, obviously.

Fri Sep 13 201315:38Julyan Stone invited to Raptors camp
Julyan Stone was invited to participate in the Raptors training camp.
The Raptors are also inviting Chris Wright and another unnamed player to training camp, which gives them 17 players on the roster. The invite to Stone comes after knee and hip injuries canceled an agreed upon contract with the Raptors earlier in the summer, but GM Masai Ujiri may have brought him over from Denver for a reason. That said, he's highly unlikely to make an impact this season.

Sat Aug 3 201311:45Report: Julyan Stone, Raptors still in talks
The Raptors and Julyan Stone are still in talks to honor their deal from earlier this summer, a league source told RealGM.com.
Stone and the Raptors agreed to a two-year, $1.9 million contract before knee and hip injuries sidetracked the agreement. It's unclear how much room the Raptors have for Stone since they signed Dwight Buycks and D.J. Augustin after the Stone deal collapsed. The source also told RealGM.com that three other teams have emerged as serious suitors for Stone but declined to name the clubs.

Tue Jul 16 201314:03Raptors may not be signing Julyan Stone
The Raptors are now unlikely to sign Julyan Stone due to knee and hip injuries.
Stone had reportedly agreed to a two-year-, $1.9 million deal with the Raptors, but it sounds like he could have the same fate as Devin Harris. Harris' agree upon deal was cancelled due to toe issues, and now the oft-injured Stone may not be with the Raptors after all.

Julyan Stone agreed to a two-year deal with the Raptors on Thursday.
He dealt with a knee injury for the vast majority of the season and played a minuscule 28 minutes over the course of the entire regular season with the Nuggets. Stone may have impressed new GM Masai Ujiri and will serve as backcourt depth for Toronto.
