The Denver Nuggets waived forwards JaKarr Sampson and Axel Toupane on Saturday.Sampson was signed by Denver on Feb. 22 and played the final 26 games (22 starts) of the 2015-16 season, averaging 5.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in 18.0 minutes. He has appeared in one game this preseason, with 10 points, three rebounds, one steal and one block in 20 minutes.Toupane signed with the Nuggets on March 24 and averaged 3.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 14.5 minutes over the final 21 games last season. He has appeared in one game this preseason, with 11 points, seven rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes.The Nuggets also waived guard D.J. Kennedy to get their roster down to 17 players. Kennedy was signed by Denver on Aug. 16 and has appeared in one preseason game, posting four points, two rebounds, three assists and three steals in 12 minutes.

The Mavs have invited former Cavaliers swingman D.J. Kennedy to training camp.
Kennedy was a D-League All-Star last year on his way to helping Rio Grande win it all. , named to the All-Star team during the '12-13 campaign before helping the Rio Grande Valley Vipers win the title. He's played in just two NBA games, both with the Cavaliers, and doesn't appear to have much of a shot at making the team.

The Grizzlies will re-sign D.J. Kennedy to a non-guaranteed training camp contract.
Kennedy was acquired in the trade that sent Jeremy Pargo to the Cavaliers, but Memphis likes him enough to keep him around for the preseason. He has an uphill battle to make any team's regular season roster.

The Grizzlies waived G D.J. Kennedy.
Kennedy was included in the Jeremy Pargo deal and he really had no shot of making an impact with the Grizzlies this year. The 6'6" guard from St. John's will have a tough time making any roster and has no fantasy value.

Wingman D.J. Kennedy, who was recently signed for the rest of the season by the Cavs, played 31 minutes and led the Cavs with 12 points in his NBA debut on Tuesday.
He added six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers, and if you want to pick him up and use him for Thursday against the Bulls, he looks like a nice choice, as Kyrie Irving has already been ruled out.
