Aldemir's draft rights have been held by the Sixers since July of 2013. They obtained his draft rights as compensation for taking on the contract of Royce White. Through six games with Galatasaray in Europe this season, Aldemir averaged 7.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 21 minutes per game. Given the fact that the Sixers have about half an inch worth of depth behind Nerlens Noel in their frontcourt, it's possible that Aldemir could carve out a role that is fantasy relevant shortly after joining the team. He could be on the active roster before next week.
