White will play for the Clippers' team in the Orlando Summer League, Ben Bolch of the LA Times reports.

As has been rumored for the past few weeks, the 24-year-old White, who was selected 16th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft, will suit up for the Clippers' summer league squad in Orlando. Due in large part to off-the-court issues, he's only played nine minutes in the NBA thus far, despite possessing a unique combination of skills for a player his size. Now 24, he's running out of chances to make it in the NBA.

The embattled former lottery pick is apparently looking to return to the NBA, and an invite to the Las Vegas Summer League would be a step in the right direction. White has reportedly drawn interest from a number of organizations, including the Bulls, Spurs and Pelicans, in addition to the Clippers. While the 24-year-old's talents are not in question, he's dealt with several off-the-court issues, which have been the primary impetus to his success at the NBA level.

The former lottery pick has appeared in only three career NBA games while battling a well-publicized anxiety issue. He's still just 24 years old, however, and is an intriguing combination of size and playmaking ability when focused and healthy. Any team willing to take a chance on White will have to navigate through his character issues, but if the Iowa State product proves willing to cooperate, he could be a cheap steal for a team in need of wing depth.

The Kings will not re-sign Royce White for the rest of the regular season.

They will max out their 15-man roster by inking Jared Cunningham on Monday, leaving White to look elsewhere for temporary employment. Kings writer Jason Jones reports that the team's coaches and management were impressed by White, but felt that it was imperative to sign a guard.

Because he tends to pass rather than shoot he is intriguing fit at power forward with liabilities Reggie Evans and Quincy Acy getting regular minutes, but playing next to two catch-and-hold guys in DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay his talents get somewhat negated by playing styles. Look for him to get a chance to show his stuff one way or another.

White finished his last game with the Bighorns with 14 points, one rebound, three assists, and three steals in 26 minutes. He will now travel to Sacramento as the Kings finish their seven-game road trip that ends Sunday. White's 10-day contract with the Kings coincidentally ends this weekend, so his future with the team is currently up in the air. Reno coach Joel Abelson was pleased with White's work and thinks he'll get the opportunity to join the Kings, but there is little value for fantasy owners here even if the 22-year-old sticks with Sacramento.

His on-court issues may have been worse in the preseason, making just 39.1 percent from the field while committing tons of turnovers and fouls in the process. He'll likely have to prove himself in the D-League or overseas after being cut by a team like the Sixers.

A total of 11 turnovers and fouls in just 17 minutes is hard to believe, but that's been the story for much of the preseason for him. White hasn't done anything to suggest he's going to click in Philly yet, but you never know with their lack of talent.

Conditioning might be an issue for White, along with the fact he took most of last season off while feuding with the Rockets. Maybe he'll be a factor at some point this season, but for now, we see no reason to draft him.

The fact he flew with the team qualifies as news, but it's still too early to get excited about White's fantasy potential. White skipped trips to Spain and England for two preseason games earlier this month.

The 76ers may occasionally use Royce White at center this season.

Brett Brown has suggested that the 6'9", 265 pound White is physical enough to battle the league's centers. It's a plan partly born of desperation now that Nerlens Noel (knee) and Arnett Moultrie (ankle) are both out indefinitely, Kwame Brown is a likely buyout candidate, and Lavoy Allen is out of shape. Spencer Hawes will start at center and the Sixers just added Daniel Orton to the mix, but there are still plenty of opportunities for the versatile White to earn minutes this year.
