Johnson-Odom signed with Italian team Acqua Vitasnella Cantu, Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
A second-round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, Johnson-Odom has logged just 31 minutes in the NBA. He averaged a team-high 18.3 points for Marquette in 2011-12, when he was named to the All-Big East first team.
Thu Mar 13 201415:35Report: 76ers to sign Darius Johnson-Odom
The 76ers reportedly plan to sign free agent Darius Johnson-Odom to a 10-day contract.
The 6'2" shooting guard has been averaging 22.0 points, 1.6 threes, 4.4 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.4 steals in the D-League. It's unclear how many minutes he might get while Michael Carter-Williams, James Anderson and Tony Wroten are healthy, but anything is possible in the Sixers' current lineup and fantasy owners should at least keep Johson-Odom on their radar.

Wed Sep 25 201322:23Lakers invite two more to training camp
The Lakers have invited G Darius Johnson-Odom and C Eric Boateng to training camp.
This news comes on the heels of the news that Dan Gadzuric will also be in camp. The big men are there to help fill in for injured rookie Ryan Kelly, while Boateng looks like a warm body to help battle with the other guards in camp. Don't look for any of these guys to be on the opening-night roster.

The Italian team Montepaschi Siena may have interest in signing free agent G Darius Johnson-Odom.

Free agent Darius Johnson-Odom, playing for Boston's Summer League team, scored a game-high 22 points on Monday.
He knocked down 8-of-14 shots off the bench, with two 3-pointers, five rebounds, two assists and four turnovers. If you blinked you missed his contributions with the Lakers last season, and he won't be a fantasy consideration even if he does make an NBA roster.

Lakers waive G Darius Johnson-Odom on Monday.

Mon Oct 29 201208:29Darius Johnson-Odom looks like he'll stick
The Lakers have "unofficially" decided to begin the season with 15 players, meaning Darius Johnson-Odom and Robert Sacre have made the team.
Both 2012 second-round picks have non-guaranteed contracts, and the Lakers could waive either or both at any point before the deals become guaranteed in January. Sacre is the better bet to see the floor between the two, but neither is going to be a part of the rotation.

The second-round pick is highly athletic, but the Lakers are highly unlikely to keep him around given the current construction of the roster.

Thu Sep 27 201209:09Darius Johnson-Odom impressing coaches
Darius Johnson-Odom has impressed coaches with his athleticism.
Unfortunately for DJO, he'll need to show more than athleticism to have a legitimate shot of making the final roster. He's an energy guy, and that will help his case to stick around, but he sorely needs to improve his raw offensive game.
