Tornike Shengelia signed a three-year deal to play with Baskonia of Spain.

Toko Shengelia (flu-like symptoms) will not play on Monday vs. the Thunder.
He is out of the rotation and only really plays in garbage time. Fantasy owners can ignore Shengelia everywhere.

Sat Jan 18 201416:51Toko Shengelia traded to Bulls for M. Teague
Toko Shengelia will reportedly be traded from Brooklyn to Chicago in a deal which will be finalized next week.
The Nets get PG Marquis Teague in return. Shengelia may earn a handful of backup minutes behind Mike Dunleavy, but it will take an injury for him to become a viable fantasy option. In 17 appearances with the Nets this season he's averaging 1.5 points while shooting 0-of-6 from downtown and 3-of-8 from the FT line.

Sat Jan 11 201413:54Shengelia recalled from D-League
The Nets have recalled forward Tornike Shengelia from their D-League affiliate in Springfield.
Shengelia will help the Nets with some depth as they play the second game of a back-to-back set on Saturday night, but he has no fantasy appeal, averaging just 1.4 points and 0.9 rebounds in 15 games with the big club this season.

Sun Nov 10 201312:24Toko Shengelia sent back to the D-League
The Nets sent Tornike Shengelia back to the D-League on Sunday.
He was temporarily called up with Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) unavailable on Saturday, though he didn't play vs. the Pacers. Brooklyn has off until Wednesday and Toko's re-assignment to the D-League shouldn't be taken as evidence that Kirilenko's back spasms have subsided.

Tue Oct 22 201309:28Tornike Shengalia (knee surgery) still out
Tornike Shengelia (knee) will not play vs. the Celtics on Wednesday.
He had surgery in late July to repair his meniscus and remains without a firm return date, even though he was initially expected to participate in training camp. The Nets roster is too crowded to anticipate value from Toko under the best of circumstances.

Thu Oct 3 201321:16Toko Shengalia (knee surgery) still sidelined
Nets F Tornike Shengalia (left knee surgery) has been sidelined during the first three days of training camp.
He was expected to be ready for the start of training camp, but there's no indication that he's suffered any setbacks in his recovery from meniscus surgery. The Nets are simply playing it safe with Toko, who should have a hard time earning minutes behind Paul Pierce and Andrei Kirilenko.

Sat Aug 17 201309:10Tornike Shengelia won't be going to Spain
Tornike Shengelia will not be playing overseas in Spain this season, according to Nets Daily.
There was a report on Friday night that a Spanish team was trying to pry Shengelia away from the Nets, but that was shot down. He isn't going to get much playing time with the Nets adding a ton of depth in the offseason, so it's not too surprising that rumors would surface.

Sat Jul 27 201309:49Shengelia (knee) could play in two weeks?
According to a statement released by the Georgian Basketball Federation, Tornike Shengelia (left meniscus surgery) could return to practice in two weeks.
The Nets are being more circumspect, declining to offer a timetable until after Shengelia has surgery on Wednesday. The knee injury helps to explain his lackluster Summer League performance and he should be ready in time for Brookyln's training camp even if the two-week timetable proves overly optimistic.

Fri Jun 28 201308:38Source: Dwight Howard will decide July 10
A source close to Dwight Howard told ESPN Los Angeles that Dwight Howard will be ready to choose his free agent destination on July 10.
July 10 is the first day free agents can officially sign or re-sign, so it sounds like the Dwightmare should be coming to a swift resolution. Of course, that's what we thought when Howard was in Orlando, so it's possible this drags out longer than expected as well. Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak continues to be optimistic about re-signing Howard, but the Rockets are lurking as a very real threat.

Nets recall F Tornike Shengelia, G Tyshawn Taylor from the D-League.
Both players have been up and down between the NBA and the D-League all season and we don't expect that to stop. Shengelia and Taylor will both likely find themselves back in Springfield sooner rather than later.
