G John Jenkins was signed by the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. Jenkins was originally Atlanta's first-round pick (23rd overall) in the 2012 draft out of Vanderbilt and spent his first three NBA seasons with the Hawks. He also played with Phoenix and Dallas in his five-year NBA career.

G John Jenkins was waived by the Mavericks on Monday to clear a roster spot for newly signed F David Lee. Jenkins, 24, averaged 3.3 points and one rebounds in 21 games (one start) for Dallas this season.

G John Jenkins was cleared to play in Friday's game after suffering a concussion earlier in the week during a practice.

Jenkins agreed to a three-year contract with the Mavericks on Monday, Shams Charania of RealGM reports.

With Wesley Matthews hurt, the Mavericks wanted to add some depth at shooting guard. Jenkins offers that added depth, as he'll now join Justin Anderson and Raymond Felton as insurance policies at the two. The fourth-year pro has spent his past three years with the Hawks. During the 2014-15 season, he played in 24 games and posted averages of 5.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.4 steals over 12 minutes per game. Despite the change of scenery, Jenkins likely won't offer much in terms of fantasy value moving forward.

Jenkins hasn't been given any playing time through the first five games of Atlanta's series against Brooklyn.

Jenkins averaged 12.4 minutes on the court over 24 games during the regular season and seems to be on the outside of coach Mike Budenholzer's playoff rotation. Unless something unforeseeable happens, expect Jenkins to be firmly planted on the bench during Atlanta's playoff campaign.

Jenkins scored a season-high 17 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and had three rebounds, two assists and three steals in 35 minutes Sunday.

Jenkins started with Kyle Korver (rest) out. He hasn't gotten much work at all this season, but that could change for the final few games if the Hawks continue to rest their starters.

Jenkins will start in Sunday's game against the Wizards, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

The Hawks already accomplished the top seed in the Eastern Conference so they'll look to rest their normal starters over the final few games of the season. As a result, Jenkins is in store for extra minutes to close the regular season.

Jenkins (illness) returned to the court Friday against the Hornets, recording six points and two rebounds in five minutes of court time.

Jenkins has been sidelined with an illness of late but appears to have overcome that ailment. He should be available off the bench for the Hawks moving forward after his successful outing Friday.

Jenkins (illness) will not play against the Nets on Wednesday, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Jenkins did not join the team for the quick, one-game road trip, as he'll remain in Atlanta with the hope of returning to action Friday against Charlotte. In Atlanta's last game Saturday, Jenkins scored five points (2-6 FG, 1-5 3Pt) and grabbed two rebounds in 11 minutes.

Jenkins is starting at shooting guard with Kyle Korver getting the night off Saturday against the Hornets.

Jenkins is just getting a spot start. He's somewhat interesting as a minimum-salary play in daily games, but the intrigue ends there. He's in the fantasy friend zone.

Jenkins (wrist) posted eight points, two rebounds, and two assists in 24 minutes of action Sunday against the Lakers.

Jenkins made the most of his extra minutes Sunday, as the Hawks opted to rest Jeff Teague. Still, Jenkins wasn't able to contribute much, and his impact is negligible in fantasy.

Jenkins (wrist) was considered probable for Friday's game against the Suns, but never entered the game.

Jenkins was hit with the dreaded DNP - CD Friday. Even when he's playing, he's inconsistent. While he did play 23 minutes March 7, he appeared in only five minutes Monday and has scored just 20 combined points in his three previous games.

Jenkins (wrist) is considered probable for Friday's game against the Suns, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Jenkins strained his wrist during Wednesday's loss to the Nuggets, and he'll be evaluated during Friday's shootaround before a decision on his status is made.

Jenkins got the spot start Saturday, replacing Kyle Korver (rest), and scored eight points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt) with four rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes.

Jenkins started at shooting guard, but the Hawks preferred a Jeff Teague-Dennis Schroder backcourt for most of the night, limiting Jenkins' value. He has been averaging 7.3 points and 1.7 three-pointers in his last three-games, but should only appeal to very deep league owners.

Jenkins will start Saturday's game at Philadelphia, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

With Kyle Korver, DeMarre Carroll, Paul Millsap, and Pero Antic all receiving a day of rest, the Hawks are left with Kent Bazemore and John Jenkins as the sole options on the wing. In three appearances since the break, Jenkins has averaged 4.7 points (on 44 percent shooting), three rebounds, and one three-pointer in 11 minutes.

Jenkins had 12 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and seven rebounds over 22 minutes Saturday against Miami.

Jenkins saw an uptick in playing time due to the fact that Atlanta sat three starters and Pero Antic. The third-year guard only got into six games in February and only saw double-digit minutes twice.

Jenkins came off the bench against the Pacers on Wednesday for three minutes and managed to register three points and one rebound during his short time on the court.

Jenkins was recalled from the D-League on Tuesday and Wednesday's three-minute outing was just his fourth appearance of the season. He's likely headed for another stint in the D-League soon, so he's hardly an option in every depth of league.

Jenkins will be active for Wednesday's game, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Jenkins was just recalled from the D-League on Tuesday and has played in just three games this season. He's is not a fantasy consideration in even the deepest of leagues.
