English signed a training camp deal with the Bulls, the Chicago Tribune reports.
A 6-6 guard out of Missouri, English was out of the NBA last season, as he played in leagues in both Italy and France. The last taste of the NBA he had was a short stint in 2012 with the Pistons. It's fairly unlikely that English will make the Bulls' roster come the start of the season, so he was most likely brought in as a camp body.

Former Pistons guard Kim English said that "three or four teams are showing interest" in signing him.
He doesn't expect to get a contract offer until guys like Gerald Henderson and Gary Neal are snapped up in free agency. He may not receive a fully-guaranteed offer, either, and suggested that he could head overseas if there isn't sufficient interest around the NBA. "This is a multi-billion dollar industry around the world," he said, "so wherever I play, I'll take it as blessing that I'm doing what I love."

The second year of his two-year contract was not guaranteed and with the Pistons adding some backcourt depth, English's roster spot was in jeopardy. He'll be an unrestricted free agent and might get some interest as an end-of-the-bench guard.

English will also work on his ballhandling and perimeter shot as the Pistons really begin to turn the screws on their younger players to step up and become contributors. English could play a consistent role in the rotation next season if he improves enough considering the futures of Rodney Stuckey and Will Bynum are uncertain.
