Thu Feb 2907:44Andre Drummond Puts In Massive Performance In Rare Start
Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond notched 17 points and rocked the glass with 26 rebounds in Wednesday's 132-123 double-overtime win against the Cavaliers. Drummond made his 10th start of the campaign as Chicago tried to counter Cleveland's big frontcourt. He added three blocks and an assist to his big double-double, finishing with 8-for-12 shooting in 36 minutes. It was Drummond's ninth career game with at least 25 rebounds, which is the most in the NBA since 2000. He's now averaging 14.1 points and 17.9 rebounds as a starter this season. This was a vintage Drummond performance, but he's set to head back to the bench for the next matchup, and it might take a while until we see him in full flow again.

Sat Jan 2009:34Andre Drummond Probable Saturday
Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond (back) is considered probable for Saturday's matchup against the Grizzlies. The big man has been on the injury report with a lower back spasm for a while, but Drummond hasn't missed any games this season. It's safe to assume he'll be good to go on Saturday. The veteran has done well as Chicago's backup center, but Drummond is only a deep league asset in his current role. He logged just 9:42 of action last time out against Toronto.

Wed Oct 25 202315:59Zach LaVine, Andre Drummond Both Off Injury Report
Chicago Bulls guard/forward Zach LaVine (illness) and center Andre Drummond (personal) are not seen on the injury report leading into Wednesday's regular-season opener versus the Oklahoma City Thunder. LaVine was absent for Chicago's preseason finale last Thursday due to an illness, while Drummond was missing for personal reasons. The two-time All-Star, LaVine, looked sharp in three exhibition affairs, averaging 17.0 points on 53.7% shooting, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 steals in 23.7 minutes. LaVine will be heavily leaned on as a key part of the Bulls' offensive-minded trio of DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic, and with Lonzo Ball (knee) expected out for 2023-24. Drummond has decent handcuff potential as Chicago's one true big man behind Vucevic, but the latter played in all 82 games last year. The Bulls may have to up the tempo in this one against a young OKC team that likes to get out in transition.

Sat Sep 2 202309:49Andre Drummond Calls Himself The Best Rebounder
Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond has named himself the best rebounder ever and believes he has a good shot at making the Hall of Fame. "I used to play 40-plus minutes. I was a star -- All-Star, All-NBA, I've done it. Hall of Fame candidate, best rebounder ever ... I'm the best ever," Drummond said on The Comfortable Pod. "I've done great in my career. I think I have a chance to be a Hall of Fame player due to what I've done in my career. Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm in the top 20 for being in the Hall of Fame, so I have a great chance." During his 11-year career, Drummond has led the NBA in rebounding four times and is the league's all-time leader in rebounding percentage with 24.85 percent. He's a two-time All-Star and was named into the All-NBA Third Team in 2016, but the 30-year-old has only been a bit-part player in recent seasons. Drummond averaged 6.6 boards with 6.0 points in 12.7 minutes as the backup center in Chicago last season. He will remain in the role for the upcoming campaign after exercising a player option on his two-year contract.

Thu Jun 29 202319:44Andre Drummond Could Leave Chicago
Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond was expected to opt-in to his final year of his contract. The big man said during a podcast on June 6 that he planned on returning to Chicago, but that might've changed. According to Marc Stein, the feelings from around the league are that Drummond is going to opt-out of his contract. The rumors are that Drummond would head to the Dallas Mavericks. On paper, that would make sense for the 29-year-old as the Mavs do need help in the frontcourt. Honestly, a move to Dallas could actually help Drummond become relevant in fantasy leagues again. It remains to be seen if the Mavs are actually interested in Drummond, but it's something to watch for this offseason.

Wed Jun 7 202319:35Andre Drummond Likely To Exercise Player Option
Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond is expected to exercise his $3.3 million player option for the 2023-2024 season. The big man had a minimal role in Chicago last season, but did play in 67 contests. He averaged 6.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 0.5 assists in 12.7 minutes per game. Drummond was effective off the bench, but the limited playing time didn't give him much fantasy value. Honestly, he's really only worth rostering when Nikola Vucevic isn't available. It's possible that Drummond could get more money elsewhere, but he appears comfortable in Chicago.

Thu Mar 30 202315:25Andre Drummond Questionable For Friday
Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond (personal) could miss a second consecutive game Friday versus the Hornets, with the team listing him as questionable for the matchup. The former All-Star announced earlier in the week that he is dealing with some mental health issues and might not be ready to return yet. Drummond, who averaged a double in 12 of his first 13 seasons in the league, has bounced around a lot in recent times and his spell with the Bulls this season has resulted in him averaging 6.1 points and 6.7 rebounds in 12.8 minutes. If Drummond isn't in the lineup Friday, Derrick Jones Jr. is set to pick up a few more minutes as a small-ball center.

Tue Jan 3 202322:16Andre Drummond Expected To Play On Wednesday
Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond (shoulder) is probable for Wednesday's game against the red-hot Brooklyn Nets. The 29-year-old has a sprained left shoulder, an ailment that's bothered him for most of the season. However, unless Nikola Vucevic misses time, Drummond won't offer much to fantasy managers outside of rebounds.

Tue Nov 8 202221:53Andre Drummond Trending In The Right Direction
Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond (shoulder) is listed as questionable Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans. Drummond has missed the past six games but has a chance to play Wednesday while he recovers from a shoulder sprain. Nikola Vucevic has been playing the bulk of the center minutes while Drummond sits, and he should continue to do so if Drummond is unavailable. If active, Drummond is a good source of rebounds, averaging 10.2 rebounds in just under 17 minutes per game.

Tue Nov 1 202218:49Andre Drummond To Miss Second Straight Game
The Chicago Bulls will be without center Andre Drummond (shoulder) Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets as he recovers from a shoulder sprain. Drummond was unable to practice Monday and underwent an MRI, but there was no structural damage. Unfortunately, Drummond is still having "range of motion issues" which sounds like he could be out for the near future. Nikola Vucevic will continue to command the vast majority of the center minutes. Vucevic recorded 23 points and 19 rebounds in 36 minutes on Saturday while Drummond sat out.

Sun Mar 27 202209:01Andre Drummond Records Double-Double In Just 18 Minutes
Brooklyn Nets center Andre Drummond is a perpetual double-double threat on a nightly basis, with Saturday's victory over the Heat driving that point home. Drummond collected 13 points and 11 rebounds, in addition to two steals, despite logging just 18 minutes. Drummond has played between 16-24 minutes in 13 of his last 16 outings, but he has been statistically proficient while on the floor. It's unlikely that the Nets will deploy Drummond for a workload much larger than what he is already carrying with Nicolas Claxton, Blake Griffin and James Johnson all available off the bench to provide depth and frontcourt flexibility. With that said, Drummond carries a solid floor for his DFS price tag, especially Sunday when facing a Charlotte squad that plays at one of the league's fastest paces.

Thu Mar 3 202218:56Andre Drummond Receives Green Light To Suit Up Thursday
Brooklyn Nets center Andre Drummond (knee) has been cleared to play in Thursday's contest against the Heat as expected. Drummond sat out Tuesday due to a sore left knee, which allowed LaMarcus Aldridge to slide into the starting five. Even with Drummond (and Kevin Durant) back in the mix, Aldridge still holds a solid fantasy floor, having scored in double figures in six of his last seven outings. Drummond has returned to being a perpetual double-double threat since joining the Nets, having averaged 9.8 points and 10.2 boards across his first six outings. The Heat have allowed the fewest DFS points per outing to opposing centers this season, but Drummond's rebounding skill has been essentially matchup proof.

Thu Mar 3 202209:07Andre Drummond Probable For Thursday's Game
Brooklyn Nets center Andre Drummond (knee) is listed as probable ahead of Thursday night's game against the Miami Heat. Drummond sat out the team's last game against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday due to left knee soreness. LaMarcus Aldridge stepped into the starting lineup on Tuesday and had a strong game with 16 points and nine boards. Expect for Drummond to be back in the starting five on Thursday, assuming he indeed is able to suit up. Over six games with the Nets, Drummond has averaged 9.8 points and 10.2 rebounds per game while shooting 54.5% from the field. At this point, Aldridge isn't worth starting in any fantasy formats while Drummond is active.

Tue Mar 1 202217:59Andre Drummond Will Miss Tuesday’s Contest
Brooklyn Nets center Andre Drummond (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Raptors due to a sore left knee. Drummond was limited to just 16 minutes during Monday's defeat to Toronto, with his absence paving the way for LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Claxton, and Day'Ron Sharpe to all have larger frontcourt roles. Despite averaging just 21.7 minutes per outing since joining the Nets, Drummond has been a perpetual double-double threat. When healthy, he has likely earned himself short-term stream value in the vast majority of season-long formats. His next chance to suit up comes Thursday vs. Miami.

Tue Mar 1 202214:47Andre Drummond Uncertain For Tuesday
Brooklyn Nets center Andre Drummond (knee) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Toronto Raptors. He only played 16 minutes on Monday, so it's uncertain if that was because knee soreness or the fact it was a blowout. Regardless, LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Claxton, and Day'Ron Sharpe all stand to gain value, assuming Drummond sits out Tuesday. Aldridge has the most upside out of the three, but remains a low-end streaming option even as a starter.

Sat Feb 12 202218:20Seth Curry, Andre Drummond Will Miss Saturday’s Contest
Brooklyn Nets shooting guard/small forward Seth Curry (trade) and center Andre Drummond (trade) have been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. Miami due to the blockbuster deal that sent them to the Nets not yet having been officially ratified. Curry, who has averaged a career-high 15 PPG this season, is likely to hold a similarly relevant offensive role with his new club once he is cleared for action. Drummond figures to battle it out alongside Nicolas Claxton (hamstring) and LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle) for minutes, but with the trio all ruled out Saturday, Blake Griffin and Day'Ron Sharpe should see ample run, thereby drawing significant DFS interest. The next chance for Curry and Drummond to take the floor comes Monday against the Kings.

Fri Feb 11 202221:43Andre Drummond, Seth Curry Uncertain For Saturday
Brooklyn Nets center Andre Drummond and guard Seth Curry are uncertain to play in Saturday's game against the Miami Heat. Both players must pass their physicals before being allowed to play with their new organizations. Once cleared to play, both players should immediately slide into the starting five. The Nets are in desperate need of a reliable big man. Drummond should see a boost in fantasy value while in Brooklyn. However, Curry could see a dip in usage because the Nets do have more shooting options than his previous organization. Fantasy managers should continue to hold Curry, but expect his value to somewhat decrease.

Wed Dec 29 202122:00Andre Drummond, Shake Milton Questionable For Thursday
Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond and guard Shake Milton have both cleared the league's health and safety protocols ahead of Thursday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. Drummond was able to practice on Wednesday, but it normally takes a few days to get up your conditioning. That being said, Joel Embiid could be asked to take on a heavier role, assuming Drummond sits out. Milton cleared COVID-19 protocols a few days ago, but has been building back his conditioning. The organization is hopeful that Milton plays, but it'll be a wait-and-see type of approach. In the meantime, Tyrese Maxey and Seth Curry will continue seeing increased usage. Fantasy managers should consider both Drummond and Milton questionable heading into Thursday's contest.

Wed Nov 10 202108:15Andre Drummond Continues To Feast As Starter
Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond made another start in Tuesday's battle with the Bucks and ended up recording his second consecutive appearance with at least 20 rebounds. He pulled down seven boards on the offensive end and added 13 on the defensive end while scoring 17 points on 8-for-13 shooting with three assists, one steal, two blocks and three turnovers. Drummond has now made three starts this season, averaging 15 points with 20 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 blocks and two steals. He's been in superb form when Joel Embiid has missed time and Drummond is currently having a run as a starter because Embiid has entered the NBA's health and safety protocols. Philly has two more games this week and there hasn't yet been any news on Embiid's potential return.

Mon Nov 8 202122:59Andre Drummond Dominates The Glass
Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond was a beast on the boards in Monday's loss to the Knicks. Drummond pulled down 25 rebounds, one short of his career-high versus the Knicks, as he put together another strong outing while filling in for Joel Embiid. The former Piston chipped in 14 points, two blocks, and an assist in 38 minutes. Drummond has accumulated 28 points, 40 rebounds, eight assists, and three blocks in two starts without Embiid. He'll be a solid DFS start moving forward with Embiid in the league's health and safety protocols.
