Tue Jun 27 202310:27Bucks Have Interest In Terrence Ross
Terrence Ross may be among the Milwaukee Bucks' free agency targets, reports Sam Amico of Hoops Wire. As it currently stands, Milwaukee has only eight players signed to a deal for the 2023-24 campaign and Ross would be a decent addition to the squad, offering veteran presence and good scoring ability off the bench. He is coming off his 11th NBA season, having split it between Orlando and Phoenix. Ross averaged 8.3 points per game during the campaign, shooting 36.8 percent from deep.

Fri Mar 3 202311:22Terrence Ross Listed As Questionable Against Chicago
Phoenix Suns guard Terrence Ross (toe) has been tagged as questionable for the team's game on Friday against the Chicago Bulls. He was forced to miss his first game, on Wednesday, since joining the team. The right toe soreness that he's experiencing seems to be severe enough to keep him from playing at least one game and maybe even two. If he's unable to play on Friday, both Cameron Payne and Josh Okogie should be solid streaming options.

Wed Mar 1 202314:57Terrence Ross Ruled Out Wednesday
Phoenix Suns guard/forward Terrence Ross (toe) has been ruled out of Wednesday's game against Charlotte. The veteran is dealing with a sore right toe and will miss his first game since joining the team on Feb. 15. Ross has done a decent job for Phoenix off the bench, averaging 10.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists, but he's role is set to be smaller going forward, as Kevin Durant (knee) is ready to start his life as a Sun.

Fri Dec 30 202217:33Terrence Ross Joins Starting Five Friday
Orlando Magic shooting guard/small forward Terrence Ross has been elevated to the starting lineup for Friday's game against Washington. Ross will be making his first start since Nov. 1, although his production with the starting unit has been largely hit or miss this year (five single-digit scoring outings in eight games). Working in Ross' favor is that Washington is allowing opponents to shoot 37.4% percent from long range, the third-highest mark in the league. The veteran will be largely a DFS tournament play for fantasy managers banking on his scoring upside.

Fri Nov 25 202218:09Terrence Ross A Late Scratch On Friday
Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross (illness) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Ross is a late scratch due to a non-COVID related illness. The Magic will likely split up the extra playing time between Gary Harris and RJ Hampton. Neither are great streaming options, but could be worth a look for desperate fantasy managers in deep leagues. The expectation is that Ross should be back soon and this is be a one-game absence.

Sat Nov 5 202216:09Terrence Ross Available On Saturday Night
Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross (knee) is available versus the Sacramento Kings. The 31-year-old missed the team's previous contest against the Warriors because of a knee contusion. Ross has started in eight games this season and averaged 10.1 points in 27.5 minutes per game. However, he'll come off the bench for this one, allowing Jalen Suggs to remain in the starting lineup. With the Magic still without Cole Anthony (oblique), Markelle Fultz (toe), Gary Harris (knee), and Moritz Wagner (foot), there's room for both Ross and Suggs to stay heavily involved and productive on Saturday night.

Wed Nov 2 202220:37Terrence Ross Tagged As Questionable For Thursday
Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. This doesn't come as a surprise after Ross exited Tuesday's game due to a knee contusion. Fantasy managers should have a better idea where he's at after shootaround on Thursday. Jalen Suggs and R.J. Hampton would see increased playing time if Ross isn't able to play. Suggs has the most upside between the two guards.

Tue Nov 1 202221:37Terrence Ross Leaves Tuesday's Game With Knee Injury
Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross (knee) was ruled out Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Ross suffered a knee contusion in the first quarter and was ruled out for the rest of the contest. The Magic continue to be riddled with injuries in the backcourt to start the season. Caleb Houstan started the second half for Ross while Jalen Suggs should see an increased boost if the injury is serious.

Sat Jun 18 202223:14Magic Looking To Move Terrence Ross
Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross could be on the move. With the franchise wanting to add more young pieces, the 31-year-old may be up for grabs, especially if it means acquiring a first-round draft pick in exchange. Ross has been an adequate producer for the club since landing in Orlando in 2016, averaging 13.3 points, 3.1 boards, and 1.7 assists. Nonetheless, if the veteran is traded, he will surely add depth to any team looking to bolster its bench. He isn't an everyday fantasy option, which shouldn't change moving forward. However, Ross can get hot on the offensive end when given the minutes.

Sun Jan 23 202217:48Terrence Ross Won't Play Sunday
Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bulls. He was only able to play nine minutes on Friday due to right knee soreness. He'll sit this one out, but hopefully won't miss too much time due to this injury. In the meantime, Franz Wagner and Chuma Okeke should benefit the most with Ross sidelined. Both are worth a look as streaming options or DFS choices for Sunday's slate.

Sun Jan 2 202217:27Terrence Ross, Mo Bamba Ready To Play Again
Orlando Magic guard/forward Terrence Ross and center Mo Bamba will return to action on Sunday against Boston. Both cleared health and safety protocols recently, and Bamba goes straight back into the starting five. Ross will lead the second unit. Robert Williams III (toe) is missing for Boston, so Bamba has a good chance to make some serious noise in his comeback game. Hassani Gravett and Mychal Mulder are also available again, but they haven't managed to make much of an impact this season.

Wed Dec 29 202115:06Terrence Ross Won't Play Wednesday
Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. He has cleared the COVID-19 protocols, but he needs to continue ramping up his conditioning. His next chance to play would be on Sunday, so fantasy managers should check back then. In the meantime, Gary Harris will continue getting an extended look in the rotation. He has been playing well recently and is worth snagging in most fantasy formats in the short term.

Fri Dec 17 202118:55Terrence Ross, R.J. Hampton Land In Safety Protocols, Out Friday
Orlando Magic small forward Terrence Ross and point/shooting guard R.J. Hampton have been placed in the league's health and safety protocols and will miss at least Friday night's game. Their absence has left the Magic backcourt extremely thin with Cole Anthony (ankle) and Jalen Suggs (thumb) sidelined; Gary Harris and Mychal Mulder are the only usual backcourt members active against the Heat. Ross had begun to find his offensive rhythm over his past four contests, in which he averaged 18 points per game off the bench; Hampton made his first start of the season Wednesday and logged 15 points. The next chance that either of the duo has to suit up comes Saturday vs. Brooklyn, although that seems highly unlikely due to the nature of the protocols.

Thu Dec 16 202108:36Terrence Ross Delivers The Goods Off The Bench
Orlando Magic shooting guard Terrence Ross had a very busy night off the bench in Wednesday's loss to Atlanta, piling up 18 points, seven rebounds and eight assists with one steal and one block. He also recorded four turnovers in 32 minutes, shooting 7-for-17 from the field with a miserable 0-for-5 record from deep. Ross has earned some more playing time lately, going for 30-plus minutes in three of the past four games. His season average stands around 25 minutes a night, so he's currently getting a much better opportunity to perform, and the 30-year-old has looked good.

Mon Nov 29 202117:40Mo Bamba, Terrence Ross Cleared To Play Monday
Orlando Magic center Mo Bamba (back) and small forward Terrence Ross (back) have both received the green light to take the floor Monday against Philadelphia. Bamba returns to action after missing his first game of the year due to a back ailment Saturday, while Ross has battled through his own back issue, one which limited him to 11 minutes last time out. With Bamba and his nearly double-double average production returning to the lineup, Robin Lopez is likely to slide out of the starting five, thereby losing his DFS luster. Ross has been streaky with the Magic's second unit, having averaged just 5.5 points per game over his last four contests.

Sun Nov 28 202120:43Terrence Ross Could Miss Monday's Game
Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross (back) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He was only able to play 11 minutes during Saturday's game before exiting due to back issues. Ross has been dealing with lingering back issues over the last few days. That being said, it wouldn't be shocking to see Ross shut down until he's back to full health. Franz Wagner and Chuma Okeke would be asked to pick up the slack, assuming Ross misses time. Wagner has the higher upside between the two and could have some intriguing DFS appeal, assuming Ross is sidelined.

Mon Oct 25 202107:58Terrence Ross Explodes For 22 Fourth-Quarter Points
Orlando Magic guard/forward Terrence Ross showed up for just one quarter in Sunday's meeting with the Knicks, scoring all of his 22 points in the fourth to help his side to a 110-104 victory. He finished the game with 6-for-11 shooting and recorded three assists with one rebound and two steals. Ross was 2-for-6 from three-point range and hit eight of his nine attempts from the charity stripe. The 30-year-old is a microwave scorer who's been Orlando's key piece off the bench for years now. Ross averaged a career-high 15.6 points per game last season and might do even better this season, with the likes of Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic out of the way and not asking for touches. He'll be back out there on Monday against the Heat, who have allowed the seventh-most bench points in the league early in the season.

Mon Aug 31 202015:17All ears: Magic will decompress, then make future plans
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) — Orlando coach Steve Clifford proudly displayed a pair of personalized Mickey Mouse ears inside his home office Monday, saying they would be one of the gifts from this season that he would cherish the most. It’s safe to say they weren’t on his wish list when this season started. The world has been turned upside down by the coronavirus pandemic, which forced the NBA into a bubble at Walt Disney World to resume the season — and now that the Magic are out of the bubble, they have no real idea what comes next. So, for now, there’s no concrete plans to be made for the 2020-21 season. That’ll come in time, but Clifford intends to spend the immediate future going over what went right and wrong after a season in which Orlando made the playoffs for a second consecutive year but couldn’t get past the first round.“I think what it does is it makes us more relevant again,” Clifford said. “First of all, making the playoffs is never an easy thing. You can’t take it for granted.... [More]

It works well.”“He puts us in a different place,” Magic coach Steve Clifford said. “He's not just scoring, he's playing an all-around game.”Nikola Vucevic added 27 points and 10 rebounds for the Magic, who won for the fifth time in six games.D'Angelo Russell led Minnesota with 28 points, but did not score After a layup that gave the Timberwolves...
