Mon Oct 27 201417:29Teague waived by Sixers on Monday
Teague was waived by the Sixers on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
The Sixers acquired Teague from the Nets on Friday, adding a second-round pick in the process. With Monday evening's roster cutdown deadline looming, Philadelphia will part ways with Teague, who will look for a yet another new home. The 21-year-old split last season between the Bulls and Nets, appearing in 40 total games and making three starts.
Fri Oct 24 201415:55Teague traded to Sixers Friday
Teague was traded to the Sixers Friday, the NY Post reports.
Teague, along with a second-round pick, was sent to the Sixers for guard Casper Ware. He'll join the Sixers as needed guard depth, as starting point guard Michael Carter-Williams will be out until mid-to-late November. Last season he spent time with both the Nets and Celtics, and finished the year averaging 2.3 points, one rebound, 1.4 assists, and 0.2 steals in 11 minutes per game.
Tue Jan 21 201412:14Nets officially acquire Marquis Teague
The Bulls have officially traded G Marquis Teague to the Nets.
The trade was finalized on Tuesday and included F Toko Shengelia being sent to the Bulls. Teague had found himself buried on the Bulls bench in between D-League stints, so this trade represents a fresh start for the rookie. He still has minimal fantasy value, however, as he'll be stuck as the Nets third-string point guard behind Deron Williams and Shaun Livingston.

Sat Jan 18 201416:37Marquis Teague traded to Nets for Shengalia
The Bulls have agreed to trade PG Marquis Teague to the Nets in exchange for F Toko Shengelia, according to Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The deal isn't expected to be finalized until next week and it won't alter any fantasy values. Teague will take over the Nets' third-string PG spot vacated by Tyshawn Taylor (traded to the Pelicans), while Shengelia will scrap for reserve minutes in Chicago.

Thu Jan 16 201410:46Marquis Teague recalled from D-League
The Bulls have recalled Marquis Teague from the D-League.
Teague has been balling with the Iowa Energy since late December and has averaged 12 points and 4.8 assists in his eight games with the team. "We don't look at it as a demotion," coach Tom Thibodeau said. "Marquis has had some good moments too. He's still very young." There is a chance Teague could still provide some fantasy value if Kirk Hinrich is traded, but he's better served being left on waivers wires for the time being.

Thu Dec 26 201311:47Marquis Teague assigned to D-League Engergy
Marquis Teague has been assigned to the Iowa Energy of the D-League.
Despite the lack of options in the post-Derrick Rose Chicago backcourt, Teague player has been unable to establish himself as a rotation player for the Bulls. He found himself limited to 10.8 minutes over the Bulls last five games and hasn't topped 10 points or six assists all season. Any hopes fantasy owners had of Teague emerging as a decent point guard option should be table until at least next season.

Tue Dec 17 201301:18Teague has disastrous start on Monday
Marquis Teague had a disastrous start in the Bulls' 83-82 loss to the Magic on Monday, playing just 11 minutes with three missed shots to his stat line and that's it.
Teague's confidence is shot and while he may be the only healthy point guard on the roster at the end of the year, we're still not sure if a full-time role would even translate to guaranteed fantasy value in standard formats. Like many players at his young and raw stage of development, the only thing owners can hope for or watch for here is that a light bulb turns on revealing something that cannot be predicted based on past results.

Sat Dec 14 201319:29Marquis Teague is starting for Bulls on Sat.
Marquis Teague is starting at point guard for the Bulls on Saturday in place of the injured Kirk Hinrich.
He did not play on Friday night, but the Bulls might want to stick him with the first unit since he has at least some familiarity with them. D.J. Augustin played 12 minutes and could wind up getting more playing time. Fantasy owners shouldn't be too excited about adding either.

Sat Dec 7 201322:48Marquis Teague has season-best line vs. DET
Bulls PG Marquis Teague scored a season-best 10 points in 17 minutes off the bench on Saturday, making 4-of-8 FGs and both of his FT attempts.
The Kentucky product also had three rebounds and three assists, but hadn't even scored in his previous five games and doesn't warrant fantasy attention.

Tue Dec 3 201321:12Marquis Teague won't go to D-League yet
Marquis Teague has an injury and will not be demoted to the D-League yet.
He is going to be with the Bulls for practice on Wednesday, but it doesn't sound like he'll be with the team for Thursday's game against the Heat. Teague has been a disaster this year and is shooting 16.7 percent from the field with the Bulls.

Tue Dec 3 201312:11Marquis Teague assigned to D-League
Marquis Teague has been assigned to the Iowa Energy of the D-League.
Teague had fallen behind Kirk Hinrich and Mike James in the Bulls rotation, so this move is no surprise after his second straight DNP-CD. While this is a short-term step backwards for the second-year guard, Teague should get some valuable minutes under his belt in the D-League that could help him take two steps forward upon his return to the Bulls.

Tue Dec 3 201309:51Marquis Teague falling out of Bulls' rotation
Marquis Teague has fallen behind Mike James in the Bulls' point guard rotation.
Teague was in line to inherit more minutes after Derrick Rose got injured, but has now fallen behind the 38-year-old James on the Bulls' depth chart. After his second straight DNP-CD, Teague seems to have lost the trust of coach Tom Thibodeau, who added, "You're doing what's best for the team." All bets are off if (when?) Kirk Hinrich gets injured, but Teague doesn't have much fantasy value in anything but the deepest of leagues right now.

Sat Nov 23 201304:17Teague the new backup point guard in CHI
Marquis Teague played just eight minutes on Friday, scoring four points on 1-of-2 shooting with one assist.
Tom Thibodeau does not trust him but he may be forced to if Kirk Hinrich suffers an injury, which isn't exactly a far-fetched idea. It's hard to say when he becomes a viable stash, but something in the 16-24 team range is a start until we see what type of role Thibs intends to give him now that Rose has gone down.

Wed Oct 30 201319:28Bulls exercise third-year option on M. Teague
Bulls exercise third-year option on G Marquis Teague.
This is a mild surprise as they were reportedly trying to move him, but he's now locked up through next season.

Tue Oct 15 201313:05Report: Bulls shopping PG Marquis Teague
The Bulls are "none too subtly" shopping PG Marquis Teague, according to Mark Deeks of ShamSports.com.
The Bulls intend to make Mike James their third-string PG this year, which makes Teague an expendable trade chip. The Jazz jump to mind as a team desperate for PG help, and the Wolves were also reportedly interested but have since 'cooled' after being unimpressed with Teague's play. No matter where he lands, it's hard to envision him as a fantasy asset.

Tue Jul 16 201322:45Marquis Teague comes up with a big game
Marquis Teague scored a team-high 25 points against the Blazers on 7-of-14 shooting, while adding three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes during Tuesday's win.
His coach for summer league, Adrian Griffin, said that Teague was a "work in progress," and the second-year guard was up to the challenge. He had the ball in his hands more than any other Bull and he was getting into the lane with ease. Teague won't be seeing much time with the Bulls during the regular season while Derrick Rose is healthy.

Tue Jul 16 201309:33Marquis Teague is a 'work in progress'
Marquis Teague is a work in progress, according to coach summer-league coach Adrian Griffin.
"Marquis is still a work in progress but he's moving in the right direction," Griffin said on following Monday's game in Las Vegas. "He's finding shooters, finishing at the rim. The one thing I saw was he pressured the ball and got a steal. He has to think of ways to help the team next season and that's pressure defense and not turning it over." Assuming Derrick Rose comes back healthy, Teague will have a tough time improving on the 8.2 minutes per game he saw in his rookie season.

Fri May 17 201308:24Marquis Teague expected to play summer league
Marquis Teague is expected to play in summer league.
Teague is just 20 years old, and although he was forced into playing time this season due to injuries at the point guard position, he'll desperately need some game action to evolve his game. Teague should assume third-string point guard duties next season behind Derrick Rose and Kirk Hinrich. Nate Robinson is not expected to return.
