Nedovic, who was waived by the Warriors earlier this week, said he'll play fro Valencia Basket if he clears NBA waivers, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The general sense when the Warriors announced his release was that Nedovic would land in the Euroleague.

He may draw mild interest from other NBA teams, though a return to Europe is probably the most likely scenario.

Although Golden State won't want to risk further injury, the 23-year-old Nedovic could use extra playing experience going into his second NBA season, so the Warriors' decision will be interesting to monitor.

The Warriors already have $56.1 million committed to five players for the 2015-16 season, plus team options on Harrison Barnes and Festus Ezeli, and a pending big contract for Klay Thompson. With all these decisions to make, it wouldn't be shocking to see them part ways with the $1.5 million that will be owed to an underwhelming Nedovic for the 2015-16 season. Nedovic was severely out-played by undrafted rookie Aaron Craft during the Las Vegas Summer League, and so far, Nedovic doesn't even look like a decent third-string point guard.
