Wolters signed with Besiktas in Turkey on Friday, Sportando reports.

Wolters has spent time with the Bucks and Pelicans since being drafted in the second round in 2013. However, given his limited athleticism and questionable shooting ability, he wasn't likely to be more than a third point guard at the NBA level.

Wolters will miss the remainder of the summer league after fracturing the middle finger on his left hand Wednesday, Dan Woike of the Orange COunty Register reports.

Wolters was playing for the Clippers when he suffered the injury but he can still garner attention from all NBA teams before the season starts anew. With 79 total appearances over his last two seasons in the league, the 24-year-old can provide depth to a bench despite this injury scare and has a good chance to end up with a non-guaranteed deal after the dust settles from summer league.

The Pelicans opted not to sign Wolters for the remainder of the season after his second 10-day contract expired Tuesday, Darrell J. Williams of the New Orleans Advocate reports.

Wolters appeared in 10 contests for the Pelicans, averaging 1.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in 10.5 minutes per game. He'll likely catch on with another team, possibly via another 10-day deal, but he could ultimately settle for the D-League if interest is minimal. Wolters was waived by the Bucks earlier this season.

Wolters put up five points, two rebounds, and one assist during 14 minutes off the bench against the Timberwolves on Friday.

Wolters is currently on his second 10-day contract with New Orleans. He is averaging 11.4 minutes over five games with the Pelicans and isn't expected to have a significant role with the team even if he's signed for the rest of the season.

Wolters didn't see a ton of action in the first three games with his new club, but got a final audition Wednesday when he played 22 minutes against the Lakers, posting six points, six boards, two steals, an assist and three turnovers in the game.

In his rookie season Wolters averaged 7.2 points and 3.2 assists in 22.6 minutes per game, but was buried on the Bucks' bench for most of the 2014-15 campaign before getting released. He will be a depth guy for the Pelicans, but it's worth monitoring him in deeper leagues, as he has more to offer than he showed so far this season.

Wolters will in fact be waived Friday morning after the Bucks officially sign Kenyon Martin, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

This was to be expected since Thursday when it was announced that Kenyon Martin would join the Bucks on a 10-day contract, although Wolters' agent quickly denied that his player had been let go. Nonetheless, Wolters will hit the open market looking for another NBA squad that needs depth at point guard. As evidenced by his firing from Milwaukee, the second-year player won't likely see significant time on the court wherever he ends up.

Wolters' agent, Jared Karnes, indicated that he hasn't been released by the Bucks despite earlier reports, the St. Cloud Times reports.

While the report indicates Wolters hasn't been released by the Bucks as of yet, it doesn't mean that will not be happening. If Milwaukee signs Kenyon Martin as expected, they will need to make a move to add him to the roster, and Wolters is still likely the top candidate to lose his roster spot as a result.

Milwaukee signed Martin to a 10-day deal Thursday morning, reuniting him with former teammate Jason Kidd. With 15 players already on the roster, the Bucks had to make a move to clear a spot, and it appears Wolters will be the casualty. The second-year guard started 31 games as a rookie, due in large part to injuries, but has appeared in only 11 games this season, frequently logging DNP-CD's. Wolters' release is likely an indication that Milwaukee plans to keep Martin around for more than 10 days.

Wolters did not play via the coach's decision Tuesday night against the Suns.

Wolters hasn't seen any playing time since playing 16 minutes against the Cavaliers on New Year's Eve. He rarely gets on the floor and that trend will likely continue barring an injury to a player ahead of him on the depth chart.

Wolters (illness) will play Saturday against the Rockets, FOX Sports Wisconsin reports.

Wolters will be available off the bench Saturday after missing the last three games. He has played just five times all season, so it remains to be seen if he will take the court Saturday.

He will not make the road trip following Tuesday's game, which rules him out until at least Saturday's tilt against the Rockets.

Wolters missed Monday's practice with an illness, Fox Sports Wisconsin's Andrew Gruman reports.

He did not play in Saturday's game, which could have been health related. Wolters typically offers some guard play off the bench when healthy, but does not produce enough to be viable in most fantasy formats. Consider him questionable for Tuesday's game against the Pistons.

Wolters (ankle) returned to the court Tuesday against the Cavaliers.

Wolters was hoping to return for Tuesday's preseason game and did to the tune of four points on 2-of-7 shooting to go along with three assists and a rebound. He is buried on the Bucks' depth chart following the additions of Kendall Marshall and Jerryd Bayless, meaning he likely won't see nearly the amount of minutes he received last season.

Wolters (ankle) practiced Monday and is hopeful to play in Tuesday's exhibition game against the Cavaliers, CF Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Wolters has missed the last two preseason games while nursing a sore right ankle. if he doesn't play Tuesday, he'll likely return Friday when the Bucks take on the Timberwolves in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Wolters dealt with an ankle injury over the summer, although it's unclear if the same ailment is what will prevent him from playing Thursday. As of now, it's unknown whether the injury will prevent Wolters from suiting up in Saturday's subsequent exhibition outing.

Wolters sprained his ankle a few days ago and this was his first game since having hand surgery in March, but neither injury bothered him during Friday's game. As impressive as Wolters was at times last season, his fantasy value will be shaky as long as Brandon Knight is starting at PG for coach Jason Kidd.

The second-round pick had a great showing in 58 games this season, making 31 starts for averages of 7.2 points, 2.6 boards, 3.2 dimes, 0.6 steals, 0.3 triples and 1.0 turnovers. Wolters was in a great spot with the dearth of talent around him, so he's not really going to be on the radar for 2014-15 drafts. Ramon Sessions and Giannis Antetokounmpo will pick up some more playing time.
