Onuaku signed a contract Monday with Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel, David Pick of Basketball Insiders reports.

The former Syracuse product had played in 11 games over the previous two seasons with the Pelicans, Cavaliers, and Timberwolves, but wasn't able to latch on with an NBA club over the offseason. He'll try his luck in Israel for a few months before potentially pursuing a return to North America after the All-Star break.

Onuaku did not receive a qualifying offer from the Timberwolves, making him an unrestricted free agent, NBA.com reports.

After spending training camp with the Pacers but failing to make the final roster, Onuaku landed with the Canton Charge of the D-League, where he averaged 17.5 points and 12.2 rebounds in 41 games. The injury-riddled Wolves came calling in April, signing the big man to a 10-day deal with six games remaining. He was unable to make a significant impact, but he turned in a pair of encouraging performances to conclude the season. In a loss to New Orleans on April 13, he posted nine points, eight rebounds and two blocks in 16 minutes. Two nights later, he went for 12 points and six boards while shooting 5-of-6 from the field. Onuaku will likely enter next season in a familiar situation, fighting to make an NBA roster and secure a guaranteed contract.

Onuaku had nine points (4-4 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, two blocks and one turnover in 16 minutes off the bench against the Pelicans.

He's making the most of his minutes. He was one of eight players to play for Minnesota and was pressed into further action after an injury to Monday's starting center Justin Hamilton (hamstring). If Hamilton can't go Wednesday, you can bet that Onuaku will see an increased role.

Onuaku made his Timberwolves debut Tuesday. He played 16 minutes (all in the second half) and put up six points, five rebounds, one assist, and one block.

The Timberwolves signed Onuaku to a 10-day contract Tuesday and immediately put him into action. With several players already ruled out for the remainder of the season, the Timberwolves have been forced to bring in some interesting players on 10-day contracts. Onuaku is the latest getting a look. He'll be with the team for their last five games of the season, so if he gets enough minutes, Onuaku could be of help in rebounds, but it's doubtful he'd contribute much anywhere else.

Onuaku could get some minutes with Minnesota missing at least six players to injury for Tuesday's game.

Onuaku will join the Pacers for training camp, the Pacer's official site reports.

Onuaku was shuffled from the developmental league and the NBA often last season, and now will try to earn a spot on the Pacers' roster for the whole season. He will mainly compete with recent signee Adonis Thomas for a roster spot.

They either had to sign him for the rest of the season or cut him, so they brought on Shane Edwards on a non-guaranteed deal. Onuaku played a total of 30 minutes in his five games with the Cavs.

The Cavaliers signed Arizne Onuaku to a second 10-day contract on Monday.

Onuaku's first 10-day contract expired Monday, but the Cavaliers decided to re-up the 26-year-old for another 10-day audition. Onuaku only played one minute during his first 10-day contract, so it goes without that his fantasy value is essentially non-existent.

The Cavs have recalled F/C Arinze Onuaku from the Canton Charge on Sunday, and he will be available to play vs. the Wizards.

During the 2014 season Onuaku has played a total of 25 minutes, obviously he is not a fantasy option in any league.

It's a 10-day deal and the Cavs bringing in another forward probably doesn't bode well for Anderson Varejao (knee). Onuaku still does not project to be in the rotation.
