Chicago Bulls guard
Zach LaVine (knee) underwent an MRI on Saturday morning. Fortunately, the results were encouraging, showing no signs of structural damage. The veteran injured his left knee during the first quarter of Friday's blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors and will be re-evaluated in about a week. While LaVine isn't expected to miss any significant time, it's a tough blow considering Chicago has also been without
Alex Caruso (foot),
Derrick Jones Jr. (knee), and
Javonte Green (groin).
Lonzo Ball (knee) also won't play against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, so
Coby White,
Troy Brown Jr., and
Ayo Dosunmu may see an increase in production. However,
Nikola Vucevic and
DeMar DeRozan should continue to lead the way offensively.
