Wilcox scored a team-high 14.0 points per game for the Clippers summer league, supplemented by 3.2 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.6 three-pointers in 32 minutes per game.

Wilcox struggled with his shot, converting 34 percent from the field and 32 percent from downtown, during the Orlando Pro Summer League. The roster lacked substantial NBA talent, placing the onus on the second-year guard to create most of the offense. Wilcox enters his sophomore season firmly entrenched at the end of the Clippers bench, but a strong training camp could impact his role in the guard rotation.

Wilcox averaged 2.0 points (42% FG, 37% 3Pt, 100% FT), 0.3 rebounds, 0.4 assists, and 0.1 steals in five minutes per game during 21 regular season games in 2014-15.

The 24-year-old guard is on the books for $1.1 million in 2015-16, the last year his deal is guaranteed. After sitting out the entire postseason, Wilcox will likely receive plenty of playing time in the Summer League come July as he looks to improve heading into his sophomore season.

Wilcox has not played for the Clippers since March 29th against the Celtics.

Wilcox only appeared in 21 games during the regular season, averaging 4.8 minutes per contest. He has not been able to find much playing time, and it is unlikely that will change any time soon.

Wilcox was assigned to Fort Wayne of the NBA's D-League on Monday.

Entering play Monday, Wilcox had appeared in only seven of the Clippers' 48 contests. Meanwhile, in five contests with the Mad Ants, he's averaged 13.2 points (on 53 percent shooting), 3.4 rebounds, 1.8 three-pointers, and 1.6 assists in 24 minutes.

Wilcox came off the bench for 10 minutes against the Nets on Thursday as he managed to contribute four points during his time on the hardwood.

Wilcox was recalled by the Clippers on Wednesday but will likely head back down to the D-League in short order. Thursday's 10-minute outing was the result of a blowout and was just the fifth appearance the rookie has made this season.

However, the chance he sees anything outside of garbage time minutes is currently dwindling, as Reggie Bullock has impressed in his only appearance this season, along with the presence of Matt Barnes, Chris Douglas-Roberts, J.J. Redick, and Jamal Crawford on the wing in addition. If you are looking for sleeper value, it likely does not lie here, as Wilcox would need a rash of injuries to see the court with any regularity.

The 28th overall pick in June's draft was dealing with a shoulder injury in the offseason that prevented him from playing at the Las Vegas Summer League. With a few more months to recover, the Washington product will be ready to play when the preseason opens. The 6-5 Wilcox is an excellent athlete, but he could be buried on the bench as a rookie, given the Clippers' depth across the board.
