Ennis continues to work back from offseason shoulder surgery and has been cleared for "controlled contact," but he's not yet able to go full speed. With the regular season just over two weeks away, he'll likely be limited to start the season but projects to return to the fold sometime in early-to-mid November. The second-year guard out of Syracuse will compete for minutes as a reserve point guard and may end up as Milwaukee's 13th or 14th man after an uninspiring rookie campaign.

Ennis will likely be sidelined for at least the early stages of training camp after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder in May. The second-year guard isn't expected to see big minutes this season with all of Michael Carter-Williams, Greivis Vasquez, and Jerryd Bayless likely ahead of him on the depth chart.

Entering his second NBA season, Ennis likely would have been one of Milwaukee's top LVSL contributors, but he'll instead focus on getting healthy before training camp begins.

Phoenix made the Syracuse product the 18th overall pick in last summer's draft, but he appeared in only eight games before being dealt to Milwaukee at the deadline as part of the Brandon Knight/Michael Carter-Williams deal. Ennis immediately stepped into a larger role, playing double-digit minutes in each of his first eight games with the Bucks. Ennis struggled mightily from the floor, shooting just 35.0 percent from the floor and 27.0 percent from three in 25 games with Milwaukee. By the end of the regular season, he found himself on the fringe of the rotation, and he logged time in only one postseason contest, an embarrassing, 54-point Game 6 loss. Ennis will return to Milwaukee on the second year of his rookie deal next season, and he'll likely be a member of the Bucks' Las Vegas Summer League team in July. With Carter-Williams and Jerryd Bayless both under contract next season, Ennis appears destined to play a similar role in 2015-16.
