PF James Michael McAdoo has seen his playing time increase with Warriors supersub SF Andre Iguodala out of the lineup in recent games, and the second-year pro is taking full advantage. One game after recording a season-best 11 points against the Pelicans, McAdoo hit his first NBA 3-pointer Wednesday in a win over the Knicks. It was also McAdoo's first 3-point attempt in the NBA, after he finished his three-year college career at North Carolina 0-for-9 from beyond the arc.

McAdoo has developed into a player that can play three positions in the Warriors' lineup, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The 6-foot-9 McAdoo is a natural power forward but can also serve as a center in the Warriors' small-ball lineup and has improved his shooting to the point where could be an adequate small forward. In Monday's exhibition opener, McAdoo scored 10 points in 13 minutes while taking just four shots. This all sounds good, but the reality is that the Warriors are deep team and getting McAdoo minutes will be tough.

McAdoo has been working with assistant coach Ron Adams on his jump shot this offseason, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Adams, more renowned for his defensive acumen, has been helping the second-year forward improve his overall perimeter game. McAdoo, who didn't hit a three-pointer in three years at North Carolina, converted 1-of-4 threes in 33 games last season in the D-League. He hasn't actually unleashed that part of his game in summer league, making just 1-of-3 attempts, but McAdoo finished the tournament averaging 16.4 points and 6.0 rebounds in 26 minutes per game. There aren't a ton of available minutes in the Warriors' frontcourt, so he may find himself shuffling between the D-League and NBA for the second straight year.

McAdoo (illness), who was assigned to the D-League for a short stint, logged one minute of action in Game 1 against the Grizzlies.
McAdoo contribute one rebound in the process, and it's a good sign to see him step on the court in his young career. That being said, he's not in the Warriors' main rotation, and he'll need to feed off garbage minutes from blowouts for the remainder of the postseason.

McAdoo (illness) will not play in Saturday's Game 4 against the Pelicans, John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game reports.
McAdoo is currently dealing with the flu and unavailable for coach Steve Kerr. Although, the 22-year-old probably would be confined to the bench even if he was healthy as he only played in 15 total games during the regular season.

McAdoo (illness) will not play in Game 3 against the Pelicans on Thursday, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
McAdoo did not make the trip to New Orleans with the team, and the report suggests he'll likely remain in the Bay Area through the weekend, which would rule him out for Saturday's Game 4. The rookie, who appeared in 15 regular season games, is unlikely to see a regular role throughout the playoffs.

McAdoo (illness) is questionable for Thursday's Game 3 matchup with New Orleans, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.
McAdoo is yet to appear in the Warriors' series against the Pelicans and is now reportedly dealing with an illness. Even if McAdoo is active for Game 3, it's unlikely that he'll get much playing time unless the game is a blow out.

McAdoo was assigned to the D-League on Friday.
McAdoo will likely rejoin the Warriors before the regular season comes to an end. However, he's only seen limited time on the court under coach Steve Kerr this season and there's no reason to believe that will change when he returns to the NBA.

McAdoo scored 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-2 FT) with four rebounds, and three blocks in 23 minutes off the bench Saturday.
McAdoo saw additional run with Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala both sitting due to rest, but that is the only circumstance in which you'd want to utilise McAdoo in fantasy leagues. The undrafted rookie is averaging just 2.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in his past five games.
Mon Mar 16 201515:51McAdoo recalled from D-League on Monday
McAdoo was recalled from the D-League on Monday, Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group reports.
With Ognjen Kuzmic being held out Monday, McAdoo will come up fro the D-League and should be available as a deep bench option Monday. The former North Carolina standout has appeared in only five games for the Warriors this season.
Sat Mar 14 201516:59McAdoo assigned to D-League on Saturday
McAdoo was assigned to the D-League on Saturday, Diamond Leung of the Mercury News reports.
McAdoo was confined to a role off the bench with the Warriors so it makes sense for him to head down to the D-League and get some much-needed playing time. Barring the unforeseen, he's not expected to have much of a role under coach Steve Kerr this season.
