After averaging just over 10 points throughout the 2019-20 campaign during his final year in Detroit, Langston's production dropped significantly in Phoenix last season. Although it's foreseeable that he ends up on another team, he isn't worthy of a fantasy selection. Still, he could get a spot-start during the upcoming season, assuming he signs with another club, so there could be some streaming potential moving ahead.

The Detroit Pistons signed free agent guard Langston Galloway, the team announced on Thursday.Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the club for Galloway, but ESPN reported the contract was for three years and $21 million.Galloway averaged 7.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 74 games last season with the New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings.The 25-year-old Galloway averaged 8.6 points with the Pelicans last season before being traded to the Kings on Feb. 20 as part of the DeMarcus Cousins deal. He averaged 6.0 points in 19 contests with Sacramento.Galloway has recorded career averages of 8.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 201 career games with New York, New Orleans and Sacramento.

Galloway poured in 11 points (3-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and collected two assists, six rebounds, a steal and a block over 29 minutes in Monday's 94-88 victory over the Sixers.

Galloway has received an abundance of minutes in the trio of exhibition contests he has participated in, with Monday's outing being his first with double-digit scoring and multiple three-pointers. He has also provided superior rebounding to date in the preseason, averaging six boards per game. Presently slotted behind veteran Jose Calderon on the depth chart, Galloway could certainly make a push for the starting role with continued impressive play over the balance of the exhibition slate. Regardless of whether he secures the top point guard job, the second-year pro is expected to receive significant playing time, with Calderon expected to be on a minutes cap in the upper 20s during the regular season.

Galloway provided 9.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steal, and 1.0 three-pointer in 31 minutes per game during the Las Vegas Summer League.

Galloway, a member of the NBA All-Rookie Second Team, has his role minimized during summer league, yielding offensive responsibilities to rookie Jerian Grant. He also struggled with his shot, converting 32 percent from the field and 4-of-16 three-pointers during his four games in the tournament. Plenty broke Galloway's direction last season, but it appears his role will shift to utility guard off the bench this upcoming season, limiting his fantasy potential.

Galloway signed with the Knicks in January and went on the average 11.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.4 three-pointers, and 1.2 steals in 32.4 minutes per game across 45 appearances (41 starts) during the 2014-15 season.

Galloway, an undrafted rookie, initially joined the Knicks on a 10-day contract from their D-League affiliate, but by the end of the season, he was arguably their most useful fantasy player. While that was relative to the Knicks' patchwork roster, Galloway's combo guard skill set made him a good match in New York's triangle offense. Such versatility allowed Galloway to finish in the top five on the team in points, assists and steals per game, which should earn him a roster spot ahead of next season. At that point, Galloway probably won't be a starter anymore, but depending on the Knicks' offseason activity, he could remain a spark plug in their rotation.

Galloway scored 26 points (10-12 FG, 6-6 3Pt) to go along with five rebounds, six assists and one steal in 32 minutes Monday against the Hawks.

Galloway was dialed in from the field in the Knicks improbable win against the best team in the Eastern Conference. He's been a pleasant surprise for the Knicks this season, but his fantasy value next season will likely depend on what roster moves the Knicks make and if he is even on the team again.

Galloway scored 19 points (6-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT) with five rebounds, three assists and a steal in 34 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Pacers.

He continues to supply modest value value, and Galloway is now averaging 13.3 points, 4.4 boards, 3.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.3 threes over the last eight games.

Galloway struggled from the field Friday against the Celtics, going just 3-for-11 for 12 points, three rebounds, six assists, and three steals in 32 minutes of action.

Galloway is averaging just 10.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.0 three-pointers made over the last five games. While he hasn't been the most consistent player, he's still averaging 37.2 points during that span, and is contributing enough to be owned in 12-man leagues.
