Athletics claimed INF Adam Heether off waivers from the Brewers.

Heether, 28, has a .267/.354/.424 batting line over parts of eight minor league seasons. He was batting .245/.343/.440 triple-slash to go along with nine homers and 28 RBI over 184 at-bats with Triple-A Nashville this season. He has a knack for getting on base, but isn't likely to be anything more than organizational depth.
