The Detroit Pistons exercised the team options on the contracts of guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and forward Reggie Bullock, while requesting waivers on guard Ryan Boatright.Caldwell-Pope has averaged 9.3 points and 2.5 rebounds in 162 games through his first two NBA seasons, while Bullock was acquired from the Phoenix Suns in July. Bullock averaged 10.7 points and 1.8 assists in six preseason games. Bullock was originally a first-round pick by the Los Angeles Clippers in 2013.Boatright, an undrafted rookie out of Connecticut, was signed Friday after averaging 4.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 13.9 minutes in four preseason games with the Brooklyn Nets.

The Brooklyn Nets waived guard Ryan Boatright, forward Quincy Miller and center Chris Daniels on Tuesday to reduce their roster to 17 players.Boatright joined the Nets as an undrafted free agent in July. The former Connecticut standout saw action in four preseason games with the Nets and averaged 4.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists.Miller came to the Nets in a July trade with the Detroit Pistons in exchange for guard Steve Blake. Miller also played in four preseason games for Brooklyn and averaged 1.5 points and 2.0 rebounds.Daniels, a free-agent signee in September, averaged 7.4 points and 2.8 rebounds in five preseason games for the Nets.
