CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Timofey Mozgov has been traded for the second time this summer, dealt from Charlotte to Orlando in a three-team deal that also included Chicago.The Magic sent Bismack Biyombo and two future second-round picks to Charlotte, which traded Mozgov to Orlando. The Magic also got guard Jerian Grant from the Bulls in the deal completed late Saturday night.Chicago acquired Julyan Stone from Charlotte in the trade that saves the Bulls about $2 million.The Hornets had just acquired Mozgov from Brooklyn in the deal that sent Dwight Howard to the Nets before he was bought out so he could sign with Washington. Neither Mozgov nor Biyombo ever came close to living up to the contracts they signed in July 2016, and both have two seasons and more than $32 million remaining.Biyombo played for Charlotte from 2011-14. He is fifth in Hornets history in blocks and blocks per game (1.6).

Chicago Bulls point guard Rajon Rondo will sit out Thursday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers with a sprained right wrist."Rondo is out tonight. MRI confirmed a right wrist sprain," coach Fred Hoiberg said, per the Bulls' official Twitter account.Jerian Grant will get the start in place of the 31-year-old Rondo, who initially sustained the injury against the New York Knicks on Tuesday. Michael Carter-Williams and Cameron Payne are also expected to share in the handling of the point guard duties.Rondo is averaging 7.8 points, 6.7 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game for Chicago (38-40), which is tied with the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers for the final two playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.

The Chicago Bulls exercised their fourth-year contract option on forward Doug McDermott on Friday.The Bulls also picked up third-year options on guard Jerian Grant and forward Bobby Portis, keeping all three players in the fold for the 2017-18 season.McDermott, who was selected 11th overall in the 2014 draft out of Creighton, got off to a slow start and played only 36 games as a rookie but broke out last season under coach Fred Hoiberg. McDermott averaged 9.4 points on 45.2 percent shooting and connected on 42.5 percent of his 3-point attempts in 81 games -- four starts.McDermott managed five points on 2-of-5 shooting in 22 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's season-opening win over the Boston Celtics.Grant was acquired as part of the trade with the New York Knicks over the summer that sent Derrick Rose away. The former All-American from Notre Dame averaged 5.6 points and 2.3 assists in 76 games -- six starts -- as a rookie for the Knicks last season.Portis found his way into Hoiberg's rotation during his 2015-16 rookie campaign and averaged seven points and 5.4 rebounds in 17.8 minutes.Grant was inactive while Portis did not get off the bench in Wednesday's opener.
