Fri Apr 1217:15Kris Dunn Sits Out Fourth Consecutive Game
Utah Jazz guard Kris Dunn (foot) will miss a fourth consecutive game on Friday against the Clippers. He remains on the shelf due to inflammation in his left foot. The Jazz backcourt is down to bare bones, meaning fantasy managers should target Keyonte George and Talen Horton-Tucker. Johnny Juzang is also among the beneficiaries in the situation, but he's been wildly inconsistent with his performances.

Wed Apr 1020:30Kris Dunn Ruled Out For Thursday
Utah Jazz guard Kris Dunn (foot) is ruled out for Thursday's game versus the Houston Rockets. Dunn is missing his third straight game with a foot injury limiting his play. Utah is among the many teams out of contention prioritizing playing it safe by resting all banged-up players. Dunn joins Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson as three Jazz guards missing time and opening up more playing time. Johnny Juzang and Keyonte George get the starting guard spots to improve their fantasy value. Talen Horton-Tucker will also see more usage increase coming off the bench on the limited roster.

Sun Apr 719:48Kris Dunn Won't Play Against The Warriors
Utah Jazz guard Kris Dunn (foot) is out for Sunday's matchup against the Warriors. He has a sore left foot, so he'll get the night off. The Jazz also won't have Jordan Clarkson (pelvis), so Collin Sexton, Keyonte George, and Talen Horton-Tucker should see plenty of minutes, raising all of their DFS potential.

Mon Mar 2509:33Kris Dunn Suspended For Two Games
Utah Jazz point guard Kris Dunn has been suspended for two games. He's received the punishment for getting into a scuffle with Houston's Jabari Smith Jr. on Saturday night, with fists being thrown. The suspension forces Dunn to miss Monday's matchup versus Dallas and Wednesday's clash with San Antonio. He will be eligible to return to action on Friday, ironically in a rematch against Houston. Dunn has started four of Utah's last five games and is averaging 5.3 points and 3.9 assists for the season. Kira Lewis Jr.'s role should be much bigger in the next couple of games, while Dunn's suspension will give a further boost to the fantasy value of Keyonte George and Collin Sexton, who have already benefited from Jordan Clarkson's (groin) absence.

Dunn is averaging 18.5 minutes on the court, 5.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists across 57 contests this season. Keyonte George is returning from his illness, but the 29-year-old Dunn filled in against Chicago on Wednesday, scoring 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt) with five assists, two rebounds, and one steal in 29 minutes.

Sat Oct 21 202320:37Kris Dunn Receives Guaranteed Deal
Utah Jazz guard Kris Dunn has received a guaranteed contract from the organization for the upcoming 2023-2024 campaign. It's unclear if Dunn will be the starting point guard, but at least has a roster spot. The Jazz will likely use a mix of Jordan Clarkson, Keyonte George, and Dunn at the point guard spot. Between the three, Clarkson looks to be the safest pick for fantasy leagues. Dunn probably won't see enough minutes to be a reliable fantasy option.

Wed Aug 9 202310:20Kris Dunn Backed To Be Starter Next Season
Utah Jazz point guard Kris Dunn had an impressive stint with the team last season and could get himself a bigger role for 2023-24. The 29-year-old featured in 22 games for the Jazz near the end of the campaign, putting up 13.5 points with 4.5 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.1 steals. He is seen as a starter by Jazz beat reporter Sarah Todd. "I believe that on opening day of the 2023-24 season that Dunn will be the Jazz's best point guard," Todd wrote. "If it were me coaching the team, independent of a front office and the league at large, I would start Dunn." Dunn has been a solid performer as a starter throughout his career, recording 11.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.7 assists.

Sun Apr 9 202307:55Kris Dunn Notches A Double-Double
Utah Jazz guard Kris Dunn bagged a 19-point, 14-assist double-double as the team beat Denver 118-114 on Saturday. He even almost made it a triple-double, collecting eight rebounds with three steals and one block in 37 minutes. Dunn made his second consecutive start and shot 6-for-13 in the game with a 7-for-8 effort at the foul line. The 29-year-old was picked up by the Jazz on a 10-day deal only in February and Dunn quickly proved that he can still do the business in the NBA. Utah Jazz guard Kris Dunn continues to impress in his time on the roster as he put up a season-high in points in the team's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. The 29-year-old posted 22 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, and one steal on an uber-efficient 9-for-10 shooting and 2-for-2 from deep. Utah Jazz guard Kris Dunn has officially turned his two 10-day contracts into a full contract for the remainder of the season as the two came to an agreement on Tuesday, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania. He's currently posting 11.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per game on 53.1% shooting from the floor. Fri Apr 8 202214:56Kris Dunn Will Miss Friday’s Contest
Portland Trail Blazers point guard Kris Dunn (ankle) has been deemed unavailable for Friday's game against Dallas due to a sprained right ankle. Dunn has been an integral member of the Blazers' rotation since joining the team March 14, with his absence paving the way for Brandon Williams to see all of the minutes at the point that he can handle. While Dunn has been an appealing DFS option due to his ceiling, he has scuffled mightily from three-point range in his 14 games (three starts), knocking down just 9.1% of his triples. His final chance to take the floor this year will come Sunday vs. the Jazz.

Thu Mar 24 202221:07Kris Dunn Inks Another 10-Day Contract With Portland
Just 24 hours after Portland Trail Blazers point guard Kris Dunn drew his first start of the 2021-22 season in a loss to San Antonio, the team announced that he would be sticking around on his second 10-day contract, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Dunn has averaged 7.3 points, 5.2 assists, three rebounds, and two steals per game across six contests, emerging while injuries have decimated Portland's backcourt. While scoring concerns exist for fantasy managers monitoring Dunn in season-long formats, he contributes sufficiently across other categories, upping his overall appeal. He will enjoy three games in the next four days against the favorable defenses of Houston and Oklahoma City.

Wed Mar 23 202221:21Kris Dunn To Move Into Starting Five
Portland Trail Blazers guard Kris Dunn will move into the starting five for Wednesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. Brandon Williams has been starting, but will head to the second unit for this contest. Dunn has looked good during his time with Portland, so they'll give him a promotion to the starting lineup. He should play 30 minutes or so with the starting unit, which is likely to give him plenty of streaming value for Wednesday's slate.

Fri Apr 23 202118:38Hawks' Clint Capela sidelined by back contusion
ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Hawks already were without point guard Trae Young when they learned that center Clint Capela would not be available Friday night against Miami. Capela, the NBA’s leading rebounder and the team’s third-leading scorer, has a back contusion. The Hawks announced Thursday that Young, their leading scorer and the league’s No. 3 leader in assists, would miss the game with a left ankle sprain. Interim coach Nate McMillan was counting on point guards Lou Williams and Brandon Goodwin and rookie centers Onyeka Okongwu and Nathan Knight to play significant minutes. Veteran big man Danilo Gallinari was a game-time decision with right foot soreness. “It’s a challenge because (Young and Capela) bring something you don’t have,” McMillan said. “What we’ve really had to do, as we’ve pretty much said, it’s next man up. You don’t have sitting on your bench what those two guys bring to the lineup as your starting point and your starting center and the way they’ve played this season.... [More]
Mon Apr 5 202116:50Atlanta's Hunter has nonsurgical procedure on ailing knee
ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter continues to struggle with an ailing right knee, undergoing a nonsurgical procedure Monday to address lingering soreness. The team said Hunter will return to activity later this week. It's not known how much longer he'll be out after missing 29 of Atlanta's last 31 games. Amid a breakout second season with the Hawks, Hunter underwent arthroscopic surgery on Feb. 8. He was sidelined for 23 games before returning to the court March 22 against the Los Angeles Clippers. Hunter's return was short-lived. He played only two games before the knee began acting up again, causing him to sit out Atlanta's last six contests. The fourth overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft from Virginia, Hunter was emerging as one of Atlanta's top players at the time of his injury. He ranks third on the team in scoring (16.0 points per game), providing another offensive weapon to go with Trae Young and John Collins. The Hawks have been hit hard by injuries this season as they vie for their first playoff appearance since 2017. Collins, Cam Reddish and Kris Dunn are currently sidelined along with Hunter. ___ More AP NBA: https://apnews.com/NBA and https://twitter.com/AP_Sports
Tue Mar 2 202115:12McMillan only reluctantly agreed to be Hawks' interim coach
Nate McMillan reluctantly agreed to serve as the Atlanta Hawks' interim coach and only accepted the position after conferring with Lloyd Pierce following Pierce's firing on Monday. Even then, McMillan didn't rest easy. He immediately felt the burden of his increased responsibility. “The sleepless nights have already started,” McMillan said Tuesday. “I didn’t get a wink of sleep last night.” McMillan said before his debut as interim coach in Tuesday night's game at Miami that he initially wasn't interested when Hawks president Travis Schlenk extended the offer to serve as interim coach. McMillan, who was fired last year following four seasons as the Indiana Pacers coach, said he wasn't looking for another opportunity to lead a team when he agreed to serve on Pierce's staff. Even as others saw McMillan as the logical successor for Pierce, he had other ideas. He didn't expect Pierce to be fired and wasn't ready to take over the Hawks. “The thought process at first was that wasn’t something... [More]

ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce was fired on Monday following a disappointing start to a season of heightened expectations.
