Thu Feb 814:27Marcus Morris Sr., Furkan Korkmaz Traded To Pacers
Philadelphia 76ers forwards Marcus Morris Sr. and Furkan Korkmaz have been dealt to the Indiana Pacers in a money-saving type of move. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pacers traded away Buddy Hield for Morris, Korkmaz, and three second-round picks because they were unable to keep Hield and Obi Toppin while staying under the cap limit. It's unclear how prominent of a role Morris and Korkmaz will play, but it seems that Morris won't be receiving the same amount of minutes as he did in Philadelphia. Neither one of them are instant adds after joining their new team, so fantasy managers can take a wait-and-see type of approach to find out where they'll fall in the rotation.

Sat Oct 21 202306:30Furkan Korkmaz Returns To Action
Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Furkan Korkmaz (hamstring) was able to log 20 minutes of action in the team's preseason finale on Friday. He contributed eight points in a 120-106 win, shooting 3-for-6 from the field with a 1-for-2 effort from downtown. Korkmaz also registered a pair of rebounds and assists. The 26-year-old had missed the previous three preseason contests with a hamstring issue. Korkmaz, who was used in only 37 regular-season games last season and logged 11 minutes of playoff action, will hope to break back into the rotation in 2023-24. However, it will be a very difficult task, with Philadelphia adding extra depth to the bench in the shape of Kelly Oubre Jr. and Patrick Beverley.

Fri Oct 13 202316:45Furkan Korkmaz And Danuel House Jr. Miss Practice On Friday
Philadelphia 76ers forwards Furkan Korkmaz (hamstring) and Danuel House Jr. (knee) both missed practice on Friday after suffering some minor injuries. House has at least seen some action on the court throughout the preseason so far while Korkmaz has yet to play in a game. Last season, Korkmaz requested a trade since he wasn't getting any playing time, but there hasn't been any word about that request since then. Both of these guys aren't on the fantasy radar in any format unless their situations change drastically.

Sun Nov 13 202216:58Furkan Korkmaz To Remain Sidelined
Philadelphia 76ers forward Furkan Korkmaz (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Utah Jazz. This doesn't come as much of a shock after Korkmaz was forced to exit early on Saturday due to a left knee issue. The team will take the cautious approach here and rest Korkmaz. Luckily, De'Anthony Melton is off the injury report, so he'll return on Sunday. The expectation is that Melton, Matisse Thybulle and Shake Milton should all see increased role with Korkmaz sidelined. However, none of them are likely to make a significant enough impact to warrant streaming.

Sun Feb 6 202215:19Furkan Korkmaz Now Playing On Sunday
Philadelphia 76ers guard Furkan Korkmaz (knee) is now playing on Sunday versus Chicago. Korkmaz sat during the Sixers' previous three games because of left knee soreness and was reportedly in line to miss his fourth straight outing. However, he is now good to go, and with Matisse Thybulle (shoulder) out of the mix, he should get a good chunk of minutes from the bench. Danny Green will also start, and while he's a risky option, the upside is there.

Sun Feb 6 202214:25Furkan Korkmaz Won't Play Against Short-Handed Bulls
Philadelphia 76ers guard Furkan Korkmaz (knee) won't play on Sunday afternoon versus Chicago. Korkmaz will now miss his fourth straight game as he continues to be sidelined by a sore left knee. Matisse Thybulle (shoulder) remains questionable, but if he can't go either, Danny Green and Isaiah Joe should see a hearty increase in playing time. However, Green should be the preferred option for fantasy managers.

Sun Feb 6 202200:07Furkan Korkmaz Questionable Ahead Of Meeting With Chicago
Philadelphia 76ers guard Furkan Korkmaz (knee) is questionable heading into Sunday's showdown with the Bulls. Korkmaz has missed his previous three games because of left knee soreness. Matisse Thybulle (shoulder) is also questionable, so if neither man can give it a go against Chicago, Danny Green will surely see an uptick in playing time (and potentially production). Isaiah Joe will likely get some additional work as well, although he is a far riskier fantasy option than Green.

Mon Jan 3 202218:55Furkan Korkmaz Joins Starting Five
Philadelphia 76ers forward Furkan Korkmaz will enter the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Houston Rockets. Both Matisse Thybulle and Tyrese Maxey are unavailable due to COVID-19 protocols. That being said, Korkmaz will join Seth Curry, Danny Green, Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid in the starting five on Monday. Both Korkmaz and Green could have some streaming appeal. Curry and Embiid are likely going to be popular DFS options with the Sixers shorthanded.

Mon Dec 20 202114:54Furkan Korkmaz Remains Unavailable For Monday’s Game
Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard/small forward Furkan Korkmaz (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's contest against the Celtics due to an illness, the third straight outing that he will miss. Korkmaz has carved out a role in the Sixers' rotation primarily due to his long range marksmanship, but he has been uncharacteristically cold from behind the arc over his last eight games, shooting just 9.5%. His absence leaves Philly thin on the wing for the time being, as Seth Curry stands to see a huge workload, while Isaiah Joe and Matisse Thybulle stand to see additional time on the floor as well. Korkmaz's next chance to suit up comes Thursday vs. Atlanta.

Thu Dec 16 202114:14Furkan Korkmaz Remains Out On Thursday
Philadelphia 76ers forward Furkan Korkmaz (illness) is listed as out for Thursday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. He remains sidelined with a non-COVID related illness. Danny Green, Shake Milton and Matisse Thybulle are all candidates to see more minutes. Thybulle is the best option of the three, but remains a deep league choice at best.

Wed Dec 15 202118:15Furkan Korkmaz Listed As Out For Wednesday
Philadelphia 76ers forward Furkan Korkmaz (illness) is listed as out for Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat. The Sixers are without Georges Niang (protocols) and Seth Curry (shoulder) is a game time decision. That being said, Matisse Thybulle is likely to move into the starting five again on Wednesday. He could have some low cost DFS value while the Sixers are shorthanded. Also, Isaiah Joe could see more minutes, but Thybulle is the much better fantasy option between the two.

Wed Dec 15 202114:38Furkan Korkmaz Questionable For Wednesday
Philadelphia 76ers forward Furkan Korkmaz (illness) has been listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat. He is dealing with a non-COVID related illness, so fantasy managers shouldn't have to worry about a multi-game absence. Seth Curry (shoulder) is uncertain to play, so Shake Milton could be asked to take on a significant role. Milton would have streaming appeal and be a possible DFS option if both Korkmaz and Curry are sidelined. Fantasy managers will have to check back closer to tip-off for more information.

Sun Nov 7 202105:36Furkan Korkmaz Drops Seven Three-Point Bombs On Bulls
Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard Furkan Korkmaz had a big bench outing against Chicago on Saturday, matching his career high with seven made three-pointers and scoring 25 points in a 114-105 win. He was 7-for-9 from downtown and shot 9-for-13 overall from the field with six rebounds, one assist and two turnovers in 32 minutes. A meeting with a Knicks team that is allowing 41.7 three-point attempts per game this season could give Korkmaz another chance to shine on Monday. He had plenty of opportunities in the first matchup of the season against the Knicks but shot only 2-for-8 from downtown to settle with nine points.

Sat Nov 6 202118:57Furkan Korkmaz Cleared To Suit Up Saturday
Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard/small forward Furkan Korkmaz (wrist) has been given the thumbs up to take the floor Saturday against Chicago. Korkmaz, who has started the last two games that he has appeared in, is returning after a one-game absence. With Danny Green (hamstring) sidelined, Korkmaz stands to have significant DFS appeal as Philadelphia's primary sharpshooter. Through eight games, the 24-year-old is averaging a career-best 10.9 points per game, giving him early-season stream appeal in deeper season-long formats.

Thu Nov 4 202118:51Furkan Korkmaz Will Miss Thursday’s Contest
Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard/small forward Furkan Korkmaz (wrist) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Pistons due to a sore wrist. Philly's three-point shooting stands to take a step back with Korkmaz joining Danny Green (hamstring) and Tobias Harris (health protocols) on the sidelines. Through eight games, Korkmaz has averaged a career-best 10.9 points and 3.0 assists on a nightly basis, serving as an integral member of the 76ers' rotation. With Philadelphia banged up at all levels, it's difficult to peg who will directly benefit most, but Georges Niang and Shake Milton stand to take on elevated roles in Korkmaz's absence.
