Thu Feb 10 202212:52Rodney Hood, Semi Ojeleye Moved To Clippers
Milwaukee Bucks forwards Rodney Hood and Semi Ojeleye have been traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. This is part of a four-team trade that also sent veteran center Serge Ibaka to Milwaukee. The Clippers don't gain too much from this deal, but open up more playing time for Isaiah Hartenstein. Ojeleye is a defensive minded player who should find his way into the rotation. Although, it's unlikely he does enough to warrant rostering in standard leagues. Hood is a decent shooter, but the Clippers have plenty of depth on the wings. There's a good chance he doesn't crack the rotation or has a minimal role on the team.

Fri Oct 22 202118:24Bobby Portis, Semi Ojeleye Will Miss Saturday’s Contest
Milwaukee Bucks power forward/center Bobby Portis (hamstring) and power forward Semi Ojeleye (calf) have been ruled out for Saturday's game against San Antonio. The duo have yet to appear during the regular season for Milwaukee, as Jordan Nwora has been the primary beneficiary of added playing time. The absences of Porter and Ojeleye are particularly problematic when coupled with Brook Lopez (back) sidelined as well, which opens the door for Sandro Mamukelashvili. Portis holds more season-long fantasy relevance of the duo, but the next shot that either will have to return to action comes Monday vs. the Pacers.

Wed Oct 20 202118:12Bobby Portis, Semi Ojeleye Will Miss Thursday’s Game
Milwaukee Bucks power forward/center Bobby Portis (hamstring) and power forward Semi Ojeleye (calf) have been deemed unavailable for Thursday's contest against the Heat. The duo missed Tuesday's season opener, which allowed Pat Connaughton to log 30 minutes off the bench and Jordan Nwora to get 26 -- both figure to see similar usage Thursday without two key frontcourt cogs in the mix. When healthy, Portis is a borderline season-long fantasy asset due to his volume and newfound efficiency; he shot a career-high 52.3 percent from the field last season, adding 7.1 boards per contest. The next chance that Portis or Ojeleye will have to take the court comes Saturday vs. the Spurs.

Sat Jan 9 202120:40Celtics would be without Tatum, Brown for coronavirus rules
BOSTON (AP) — The Boston Celtics could be without stars Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and a number of other players because of coronavirus safety protocols when they face Miami on Sunday. The Celtics are listing Tatum as doubtful and Brown as questionable for the rematch of the Eastern Conference finals. Tristan Thompson, Grant Williams and Robert Williams have already been ruled out for that reason, and the status of Semi Ojeleye and Javonte Green is unknown. With Kemba Walker and Romeo Langford unavailable because of injuries, the Celtics could have the minimum eight players required to start a game. Beset by its own coronavirus problems, Philadelphia dressed an injured player Saturday so it could field a team to play against Denver. Boston played on Friday against Washington, and Tatum was seen on video talking to the Wizards' Bradley Beal, who missed a game Saturday against Miami because of the health and safety protocols. ___ More AP NBA: https://apnews.com/NBA and https://twitter.com/AP_Sports
Mon Sep 28 202019:16Celtics head into offseason focused on future, not ending
BOSTON (AP) — Jayson Tatum emerged as a bona fide star, Jaylen Brown showed he can be a consistent presence in the lineup and Kemba Walker helped the Celtics put the failed Kyrie Irving experiment behind them. But following their Eastern Conference finals loss to Miami, it’s clear there is still work to do in Boston after the Celtics squandered their best opportunity yet under coach Brad Stevens to make it to the NBA Finals. Stevens said he heads into the offseason lamenting only the outcome and not the effort by his players during the abnormal season. “My regret is not what we put in. My regret is not how we prepared or worked or how hard our guys worked or how committed they were to playing and staying together,” he said. “You look back at those first couple of games (against Miami) and it put us in a tough spot. I just think that ultimately we had our chances and we didn’t take advantage of it enough.” The Celtics returned from the COVID-19-caused hiatus and emerged as one of the hottest... [More]
Tue Nov 26 201902:26Love at peace, not worried about trade chatter
Kevin Love knows change could be coming.A couple of years ago, uncertainty might have been something that stressed him out, triggered the sorts of feelings like the ones that manifested themselves in the form of an in-game panic attack in 2017, rendered him unable to compete as efficiently as he wanted. Not this time.Even though he has three full years and about $90 million left on his contract after this season, it's no secret that Love could be traded by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Plenty of teams even make sense for such a move — Portland, Dallas, Denver, Miami among others. But going public with the details of his panic attack — and his ongoing involvement in the conversation about the need to take care of mental health — has not left Love feeling vulnerable. He's more at peace than anything else, and that's why the rumors that are out there aren't gnawing at him."I'm just going to let the chips fall," Love said. "I know that this is a young team. I think I can help them. I'm going to do... [More]
