Romero was released earlier this week.

Diamondbacks reassigned LHP Clay Zavada, INF Andy Tracy and OF David Winfree to Triple-A Reno.
Zavada was the only one of the three that had a chance to win a roster spot, and that's assuming he was healthy. He was not, having dealt with shoulder soreness that kept him from appearing in a game.

Clay Zavada (shoulder) is expected to return to Diamondbacks camp Wednesday.
Zavada did not show up to a scheduled physical on Monday and some in the D'Backs organization thought he might be considering retirement. Apparently, that's not the case. "He just needed a couple of days to figure out what was going on with his shoulder," Zavada's agent, Barry Meister, said Tuesday. The left-hander will continue to compete for a bullpen job if deemed healthy.
