Zavada did not show up to a scheduled physical on Monday and some in the D'Backs organization thought he might be considering retirement. Apparently, that's not the case. "He just needed a couple of days to figure out what was going on with his shoulder," Zavada's agent, Barry Meister, said Tuesday. The left-hander will continue to compete for a bullpen job if deemed healthy. | ||||||
