Thu Feb 2215:40Knicks Remove Donte DiVincenzo From Injury Report
The New York Knicks are not including guard Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) on their injury report for Thursday's game versus the Philadelphia 76ers. The Knicks kept DiVincenzo out of their last game prior to the All-Star break due to soreness in his right hamstring, but he is ready to play after practicing on Tuesday and Wednesday. The 27-year-old combo guard is averaging 26.5 points, 5.3 threes, 4.0 assists, and 1.5 steals over his last nine games.

Tue Feb 2005:34Donte DiVincenzo On Track To Return Versus Philadelphia
New York Knicks guard/forward Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) is on track to jump back into the lineup on Thursday when the team returns from the All-Star break with a matchup against the 76ers in Philadelphia. DiVincenzo didn't play in the team's final game before the break due to right hamstring soreness. Getting the 27-year-old sniper back is great news for the injury-hit Knicks, as DiVincenzo has been like a man possessed lately, averaging 26.5 points across his last eight appearances.

Wed Feb 1418:33Donte DiVincenzo Sidelined Versus Orlando
New York Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) won't suit up for Wednesday's matchup with Orlando. The 27-year-old is coming off a 23-point, two-steal showing on Monday against the Houston Rockets. However, he suffered a hamstring issue in that one. Fortunately, it doesn't appear he'll be out long, so there's a good chance he will return to the floor immediately after the All-Star break. That said, with the Knicks also adding Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles) and Bojan Bogdanovic (calf) to an already extensive injury report, Alec Burks and Josh Hart should get all the minutes they can handle. But Jalen Brunson will be the top offensive option versus the Magic, although that goes without saying.

Tue Feb 1322:12Donte DiVincenzo Questionable For Wednesday
New York Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) is questionable ahead of Wednesday's game against Orlando. The 27-year-old has averaged 25.2 points in his last six games, mostly due to the absences of Julius Randle (shoulder) and OG Anunoby (elbow). But now DiVincenzo is on the injury report after tweaking his hamstring on Monday night in the loss to Houston, so New York may be even more shorthanded heading toward the All-Star break. Fortunately, the team recently added Bojan Bogdanovic, who will help lessen the blow if DiVincenzo can't play. Additionally, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart will suit up, so they'll likely pick up more of the slack offensively if DiVincenzo is sidelined.

Tue Aug 1 202307:32Biggest Moves of the 2023 NBA Offseason - Fred VanVleet, Jordan Poole, Kristaps Porzingis, Bradley Beal
It's a crazy time of year around the National Basketball Association. Not long after the Denver Nuggets captured the franchise's first championship, French big manVictor Wembanyama was the top pick of the 2023 Draft. While new talent entering the league is all well and good, nothing turns the NBA upside down quite like the beginning of free agency. Since June 30, many notable players have signed with new teams. There were also more than a few significant trades. In either case, at least a handful of clubs will look very different (for the better?) come training camp. Let's take a look at some of the biggest names on the move and how they might affect the NBA landscape this season.

Fred VanVleet - Houston Rockets

The Rockets entered the 2022-23 campaign as the second-youngest team in the National Basketball Association, and it showed. The club finished with 22 wins and 60 losses, with the Pistons being the only team with a worse record. As a result, the front office made a point to shake things up after the exhaustingly long year came to a close. The overhaul began when Stephen Silas, winning just 59 of his 236 games in Houston, was relieved of his head coaching duties. In his place, Ime Udoka, who helped guide the Celtics to an NBA Finals appearance in his first season, took the reigns. While Udoka's tenure in Boston didn't end on a positive note, he's still regarded as one of the sharpest minds in the league, even by those who lost respect for him on a personal level.https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/1650612243661242369?s=20While having a knowledgeable head coach will help accelerate the growth of an up-and-coming squad, the Rockets needed someone to facilitate things on the floor. With Houston having plenty of cap space entering the offseason, the team signed ... [More]
Tue Jun 27 202318:21Donte DiVincenzo Going To The Knicks Is A Growing Possibility
Golden State Warriors guard Donte DiVincenzo did say that he loved being with the team during his exit interview this past season but he's also expected to have a pretty big market in free agency. One team that seems to be a growing possibility, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, is the New York Knicks. DiVincenzo has a strong relationship with former college teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart. The Knicks are also looking for more guards and wings to add depth to their roster while still dangling the possibility of an RJ Barrett trade.

Sun May 14 202300:15Donte DiVincenzo Loves Being A Warrior
Golden State Warriors guard Donte DiVincenzo stated he hasn't thought about the offseason during his exit interview on Saturday. Specifically, he hasn't decided on his player option for the 2023-24 campaign. However, the 26-year-old did acknowledge that he "loves" being in Golden State, adding, "we'll cross that bridge once we get there." DiVincenzo averaged 9.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 72 games with the Dubs this season. He also filled in admirably as a starter when needed. Nevertheless, If DiVincenzo opts out, the Warriors will have a tough time paying him more, especially since he'll likely draw interest from clubs around the NBA.

Fri Feb 10 202313:152023 NBA Trade Deadline Breakdown - Fantasy Basketball Impacts
The NBA trade deadline has officially come and gone and we had one of the most active deadlines in recent memory with some big stars being dealt. Kyrie, KD, and Westbrook are all heading to new teams and we have been covering those trades and their fantasy impacts here at RotoBaller. But there were plenty of other lesser-known players who were dealt in the last few days and I wanted to go through and make sure we don't overlook some of these trades as some of those deals may even have more fantasy impact than the big moves. So here are some other trades that went down and my two cents on the increase or decrease in value that we should expect from the players involved for the remainder of the 2022-2023 fantasy basketball season.

Moves That Matter

These are very much in order of how much they matter. Let's start with the Spurs sending their starting center back up North where he started his career.Jakob Poeltl to the RaptorsI am a huge Poeltl fan and was close to acquiring him on multiple teams before the deadline. It was a curious move by Toronto to be buyers instead of sellers at the deadline, but Poeltl gives them the presence at the five they have been lacking all season and allows Siakam to shift over and play PF where he belongs.Poeltl is no longer a shutdown candidate and has legit top-50 upside with his multi-category abilities. His departure also makes ... [More]
Thu Dec 29 202221:45Donte DiVincenzo Probable For Friday
Golden State Warriors guard Donte DiVincenzo (knee) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Normally, his status won't be noteworthy, but DiVincenzo has been hot recently. The 25-year-old has been a top-50 player over the last two weeks. The Warriors have been banged up, which has opened up more minutes for DiVincenzo in the rotation. The expectation is that he'll play on Friday and should be a reliable streaming option for that game.

Sat Dec 24 202218:54Donte DiVincenzo Ready To Return On Christmas Day
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Donte DiVincenzo (illness) is set to return from a two-game absence on Christmas Day against the Grizzlies. He was forced to miss a pair of contests while battling a non-COVID illness. The 25-year-old had just moved to the starting unit before getting sick. DiVincenzo will hope to regain his spot for the special matchup on Sunday. In four total starts this season, DiVincenzo has notched 9.3 points with 4.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.5 steals, so fantasy managers should definitely have him on their radar.

Wed Dec 21 202216:51Donte DiVincenzo Remains Out For Wednesday’s Game
Golden State Warriors small forward Donte DiVincenzo (illness) has been ruled out for the second straight outing Wednesday against Brooklyn due to an illness. DiVincenzo had recently secured a spot among the starting five, with his absence -- along with those of Stephen Curry (shoulder) and Andrew Wiggins (groin) -- paving the way for Moses Moody to enter the starting five; Moody led Golden State in minutes with DiVincenzo out Tuesday, giving him a solid DFS floor at his current price tag. DiVincenzo appeared in line for short-term season-long value as recently as last week, but he'll need to reclaim his starting gig upon his return before managers snag him off the wire.

Tue Dec 20 202216:59Donte DiVincenzo Won't Suit Up On Tuesday Night
Golden State Warriors guard Donte DiVincenzo (illness) will be sidelined against the New York Knicks on Tuesday with a non-COVID illness. He's been receiving north of 30 minutes per game lately and even has taken the starting spot that was vacated by Andrew Wiggins. Unfortunately, as Wiggins misses another game, DiVincenzo will miss his first game since early November. Moses Moody and Anthony Lamb will likely receive some more minutes as a product of that, but both of them are risky streaming options.

Wed Dec 14 202218:54Donte DiVincenzo Draws The Start On Wednesday
Golden State Warriors guard Donte DiVincenzo will join the starting lineup on Wednesday night against the Indiana Pacers. He'll join Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole, Draymond Green, and Kevon Looney while Klay Thompson is out due to injury management. DiVincenzo's last start ended with him missing all five of his shots and the team losing by 45 points. He'll likely do a bit better than that, but Jonathan Kuminga could also be a good streaming option with the team short-handed.

Fri Nov 11 202220:38Donte DiVincenzo Active With A Minutes Limit
Golden State Warriors guard Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) will return to the lineup Friday against Cleveland, but he will be carrying a 20-minute restriction. The team will try to take it easy with the 25-year-old sniper, who has missed eight games with a left hamstring strain. DiVincenzo has actually averaged just 14 minutes for the season, so you would guess that he would be more than happy to get anywhere near 20. The Warriors bench has struggled badly and DiVincenzo could end up playing a very important role off the pine. His return pushes Ty Jerome down the pecking order.

Fri Nov 11 202210:41Donte DiVincenzo Probable To Return On Friday
Golden State Warriors guard Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) has been listed as probable to play his first game back since injuring his hamstring three weeks ago. The 25-year-old didn't see too many minutes in his first three games. He'll still be in a reserve role and will be behind Jordan Poole in the guard rotation. DiVincenzo could be worth a look in deeper leagues, but in all other formats, he should be a wait-and-see type of situation. If he starts to see more minutes, then he should start entering waiver wire pickup territory.

Mon Oct 24 202218:07Donte DiVincenzo To Be Re-Evaluated In One Week
Golden State Warriors guard Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) will be out for at least the next week after suffering an injury during Sunday's game. The team has announced that DiVincenzo will be re-evaluated in one week. He was only playing around 10 minutes per game, so his absence won't make a huge impact. Ty Jerome has been called up, while Moses Moody could see an increase in playing time. Neither player is expected to see enough minutes to warrant rostering in fantasy formats.

Mon Oct 24 202208:10Donte DiVincenzo Sustains A Hamstring Injury
Golden State Warriors shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo wasn't able to complete Sunday's win over Sacramento due to a hamstring injury. He ended up logging 11 minutes, scoring four points and delivering one assist. DiVincenzo has already been ruled out for Tuesday's clash with the Suns. Hamstring injuries tend to need at least a couple of weeks to clear up, so DiVincenzo is looking at the prospect of missing multiple games. Moses Moody is likely set to get slightly bigger minutes while DiVincenzo recovers and Jonathan Kuminga might benefit as well, although he has looked very poor early in the season and it will be hard for fantasy managers to trust him.

Sun Jul 3 202219:14Donte DiVincenzo Inks Two-Year Deal To Join Warriors
Point/shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo has reportedly signed a two-year contract worth $9.3 million to join the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. DiVincenzo became an unrestricted free agent after Sacramento chose not to extend a qualifying offer on the 25-year-old, opting instead to acquire new backcourt talent in Malik Monk and Kevin Huerter. Golden State has been dealing with a shuffle of their own, losing Gary Payton II in free agency, before landing DiVincenzo, who averaged nine points, four rebounds, and 2.8 assists across 42 outings last year between the Bucks and Kings. DiVincenzo brings ample playoff experience, having started 66 regular-season games during Milwaukee's champion year in 2020-21.

Thu Feb 10 202212:28Donte DiVincenzo Traded To Kings
Milwaukee Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo has been traded to the Sacramento Kings in part of a four-team trade. The Kings have already acquired Domantas Sabonis, Justin Holiday, and Jeremy Lamb. Now, they have DiVincenzo, Josh Jackson, and Trey Lyles as well. They appear to be reshaping their roster for a playoff run. DiVincenzo is a quality shooter from beyond the arc. He should get plenty of chances with Terence Davis (wrist) sidelined. It's a nice move for the Kings roster, but DiVincenzo might end up only having deep league appeal. This is a wait-and-see type of situation.

Fri Jan 7 202218:19Donte DiVincenzo Out For A Few Weeks
Milwaukee Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo (ankle) will miss a few weeks. He re-injured his surgically repaired left ankle around a week ago, which is unfortunate considering he recently returned on Christmas after spending the entire year on the shelf. With Jrue Holiday, Pat Connaughton, and Grayson Allen out for the foreseeable future because of COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the Bucks are left with limited options in the backcourt. Nonetheless, Wesley Matthews, Javonte Smart, and Rodney Hood will attempt to fill the void. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo and ... [More]
