Golden State Warriors guard Donte DiVincenzo did say that he loved being with the team during his exit interview this past season but he's also expected to have a pretty big market in free agency. One team that seems to be a growing possibility, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, is the New York Knicks. DiVincenzo has a strong relationship with former college teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart. The Knicks are also looking for more guards and wings to add depth to their roster while still dangling the possibility of an RJ Barrett trade.

DiVincenzo appeared in line for short-term season-long value as recently as last week, but he'll need to reclaim his starting gig upon his return before managers snag him off the wire.

DiVincenzo became an unrestricted free agent after Sacramento chose not to extend a qualifying offer on the 25-year-old, opting instead to acquire new backcourt talent in Malik Monk and Kevin Huerter. Golden State has been dealing with a shuffle of their own, losing Gary Payton II in free agency, before landing DiVincenzo, who averaged nine points, four rebounds, and 2.8 assists across 42 outings last year between the Bucks and Kings. DiVincenzo brings ample playoff experience, having started 66 regular-season games during Milwaukee's champion year in 2020-21.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo has been traded to the Sacramento Kings in part of a four-team trade. The Kings have already acquired Domantas Sabonis, Justin Holiday, and Jeremy Lamb. Now, they have DiVincenzo, Josh Jackson, and Trey Lyles as well. They appear to be reshaping their roster for a playoff run. DiVincenzo is a quality shooter from beyond the arc. He should get plenty of chances with Terence Davis (wrist) sidelined. It's a nice move for the Kings roster, but DiVincenzo might end up only having deep league appeal. This is a wait-and-see type of situation.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo (ankle) will miss a few weeks. He re-injured his surgically repaired left ankle around a week ago, which is unfortunate considering he recently returned on Christmas after spending the entire year on the shelf. With Jrue Holiday, Pat Connaughton, and Grayson Allen out for the foreseeable future because of COVID-19 health and safety protocols, the Bucks are left with limited options in the backcourt.
