Fri Oct 20 202316:46Wenyen Gabriel Waived By The Celtics
Boston Celtics forward Wenyen Gabriel is getting waived by the team on Friday, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania. The 26-year-old played in 68 games for the Los Angeles Lakers last year in a reserve role, where he saw 15.1 minutes per contest. He was able to average 5.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in that time but never became an important piece to the team's success. The Celtics seemed to see the same issue after he was signed to an Exhibit 10 deal with the team in early October and is now on his way out.

Mon Dec 19 202217:45Wenyen Gabriel Available For Monday's Game
Los Angeles Lakers forward Wenyen Gabriel (shoulder) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Monday's game against the Phoenix Suns. He has missed the last seven games due to left shoulder soreness. Normally, Gabriel isn't a great fantasy option, but could have streaming value on Monday. The Lakers are without LeBron James (ankle) and Anthony Davis (foot), so Gabriel should have an extended role in the rotation.

Mon Nov 7 202222:05Wenyen Gabriel To Enter The Starting Lineup Versus Jazz
Los Angeles Lakers forward Wenyen Gabriel will start against the Utah Jazz on Monday night. LeBron James (foot) is out with foot soreness, giving Gabriel a chance to get some additional work. The 25-year-old has averaged only 3.9 points and 3.0 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per game this season. While he should exceed those numbers, he's not a lock to produce for fantasy managers.

Fri Apr 8 202218:01Wenyen Gabriel Signs New Deal With Lakers
Los Angeles Lakers forward Wenyen Gabriel has signed a new contract with the organization. He'll sign a two-year deal with a team option, which is great for him after only appearing in 17 games. The Lakers waived veteran forward Trevor Ariza to make room for Gabriel on the roster. Gabriel is expected to play heavy minutes during the final few regular season games. The Lakers are resting their big three and giving their rotational guys such as Gabriel a bigger look. He might hold streaming appeal in the final two games, but isn't someone worth looking at in fantasy leagues heading into next season.

Thu Mar 31 202214:38Wenyen Gabriel Good To Go On Thursday
Los Angeles Lakers forward Wenyen Gabriel (ankle) will be active for Thursday night's game against the Utah Jazz. Gabriel is currently listed as questionable for the game due to a left ankle sprain, but according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports, Gabriel will be good to go. The 25-year-old has been a regular part of the rotation lately as the Lakers have been ravaged by injuries. However, he hasn't provided much from a statistical standpoint when he's been on the court. He's averaging 16.3 minutes per game in March and that has resulted in just 6.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game without many other notable stats.

Wed Mar 30 202222:48Wenyen Gabriel Questionable For Thursday
Los Angeles Lakers forward Wenyen Gabriel (ankle) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Utah Jazz. He is currently considered day-to-day due to a left ankle sprain. LeBron James (ankle) has been ruled out, so Gabriel should have a bigger role, assuming he can play. Although, it's tough to know which players on the Lakers are going to succeed when the big three is out. Malik Monk is the best streaming option between the Lakers regular options. Gabriel has some low-end streaming appeal, but is also risky.

Sat Mar 19 202216:32Wenyen Gabriel Is Questionable For Saturday
Los Angeles Lakers forward Wenyen Gabriel (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Washington Wizards. Normally, Gabriel isn't relevant in fantasy formats, but has played well with the Lakers. He is coming off a 17-point performance during Friday's contest. He could have some streaming appeal if he gets another start here. Otherwise, Carmelo Anthony and Talen Horton-Tucker (ankle) would see additional playing time.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — With a big night against Golden State, Damian Lillard signaled that he's asserting himself at a crucial point of the Trail Blazers' season. We've got to go take it.”Lillard had a franchise-best 61 points — including 11 3-pointers — this week in Portland's 129-124 overtime victory over the Warriors. It was the most points for a player in the NBA this season, and it broke Lillard's own franchise record of 60 points set earlier this season against Brooklyn.
