Thu Nov 17 202221:57Terence Davis To Start On Thursday
Sacramento Kings guard Terence Davis will move into the starting five for Thursday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. He'll replace Keegan Murray (back) who was forced to exit early during their last contest. In his absence, Davis went off for 31 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. He should be a strong streaming option while Murray is on the sideline.

Wed Nov 16 202211:03Terence Davis Scores Season-High 31 Points
Sacramento Kings guard Terence Davis went crazy on the Brooklyn Nets in the team's 153-121 win on Tuesday night. He came just four points shy of his career-high. Davis logged 31 points, nine rebounds, four assists, three steals, and one block on 12-for-16 shooting from the floor and 7-for-10 from beyond the arc. He was also a ridiculous +35 in plus/minus. The Nets just had no answers for the 25-year-old as he did all of this damage coming off of the bench while not turning the ball over once. His playing time fluctuates a little too much to be a must-add, but he can be a good streaming option if anyone in front of him gets injured.

Wed Jan 26 202217:57Terence Davis Sidelined Indefinitely With Wrist Injury
Sacramento Kings shooting guard/small forward Terence Davis (wrist) has been diagnosed with a tendon injury in his right wrist which will rule him out indefinitely, beginning with Wednesday's game vs. Atlanta. Davis, who had started each of Sacramento's previous four outings, was enjoying a bit of a fantasy revival offensively after a career-high 35-point showing last Wednesday. His absence likely opens the door for Buddy Hield and Davion Mitchell to take on increased minutes totals and offensive usage. Davis is an appealing upside asset when healthy, but the uncertainty surrounding his injury likely pushes him toward the waiver wire in the vast majority of season-long formats for the time being.

Sat Dec 25 202121:03Terence Davis Clears Safety Protocols
Sacramento Kings guard Terence Davis has cleared safety protocols ahead of Sunday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. He has missed each of the last five games, but appears ready to return. The Kings are already without rookie guard Davion Mitchell due to protocols. Also, De'Aaron Fox is listed as questionable due to protocols. Davis could find himself with significant minutes, assuming Fox remains out. That being said, Davis could have some streaming appeal, but fantasy managers should check back closer to tip-off on Sunday.

Wed Dec 15 202119:56Terence Davis Enters Health And Safety Protocols
Sacramento Kings forward Terence Davisis out Wednesday against the Washington Wizards and has entered the league's health and safety protocols. Davis joins Marvin Bagley III as the other Kings player to enter the league's COVID-19 protocols on Wednesday, so hopefully this does not spread. With Davis out, Chimezie Metu and Davion Mitchell should see more opportunity over the next week or so.

Fri Nov 12 202119:39Tyrese Haliburton, Terence Davis Will Suit Up Friday
Sacramento Kings shooting guards Tyrese Haliburton (back) and Terence Davis (ankle) have both been given the green light to take the floor for Friday's game against Oklahoma City. Haliburton will reclaim his spot among the starting five, looking to build upon the solid 13.6 points per game average that he has accumulated over his first 10 contests. Davis returns from a one-game absence to give the Kings added wing depth, potentially taking a touch of the shine off Buddy Hield's DFS appeal Friday. Haliburton stands to see sizable single-game upside due to an extremely favorable matchup with a porous Thunder defense.

Tue Nov 9 202121:10Terence Davis Earns Questionable Tag For Wednesday
Sacramento Kings shooting guard Terence Davis (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Wednesday's contest against San Antonio due to a sore left ankle. Davis is coming off his most productive outing of the season Monday, in which he set new season highs with three triples and 13 points off the bench. An absence from Davis would open the opportunity for more minutes and shots within the second unit from Buddy Hield and Davion Mitchell. Tyrese Haliburton (back) is questionable in his own right, so Davis' potential outcomes remain plentiful. Check back prior to tip-off for the final word on the Sacramento backcourt.

Wed Aug 4 202114:44Terence Davis To Stay With Kings
Sacramento Kings guard Terence Davis has agreed to a two-year deal with the organization. He averaged 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists with 1.0 steals through 27 games with the Kings last season. He'll be thrown into the Kings young guard mix of De'Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton, and Davion Mitchell. To be honest, Davis is probably the fourth best player in the group, so his fantasy value will be limited. He might be a deep league option or streaming choice, but won't be worth a look on draft day.

Fri Mar 26 202113:22Analysis: How the trade deadline could pay some dividends
The NBA called this season’s trade deadline the busiest in the last 35 years, with 46 players from 23 teams involved in 16 different deals. What’s unclear is how many of those deals will have an impact on this season. Face it: Some will not register much of a blip. Brad Wanamaker getting moved to Charlotte by Golden State for a draft pick that will probably never change hands, that’s not exactly swinging a balance of power. Same goes for the Warriors sending Marquese Chriss to San Antonio, and Toronto trading Matt Thomas to Utah and Terence Davis to Sacramento — getting second-round picks back in both cases. Those Raptors moves were almost certainly made to clear roster spots for a Kyle Lowry trade that never happened. And it says something about the busiest trade deadline in 35 years when the biggest news of the day was a trade that didn’t happen, in Lowry’s case. That said, there were some moves that have potential to affect the postseason races. Here are some of the teams that benefited... [More]
Thu Mar 25 202120:22Trade deadline passes, and Kyle Lowry remains with Raptors
Kyle Lowry wound up staying with Toronto after all. Victor Oladipo is finally in Miami, a destination he's eyed in the past. And Rajon Rondo is headed back to Los Angeles, though not with the team he helped win the NBA title last season. The trade deadline has come and gone. And now, playoff pushes can really begin. Miami, Denver, the Clippers, Portland, Dallas, Boston and Atlanta were likely among the teams feeling convinced that they improved on deadline day after a flurry of moves Thursday, though the best player — at least this season — might have been landed by the Chicago Bulls. They got All-Star forward Nikola Vucevic from Orlando, a move that ushered in the start of a big-time rebuild by the Magic. “Anytime you trade a player like Nikola, it is a tough decision to make," Magic President Jeff Weltman said. Vucevic is the only player from this season's All-Star Game to be traded at the deadline. It was a steep price; Vucevic and Al-Farouq Aminu went to the Bulls for Otto Porter, Wendell... [More]

Tue Feb 23 202123:02Harris, Embiid lead 76ers over Raptors 109-102
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — All-Star center Joel Embiid didn't get his hands on the ball much in the first half Tuesday night, but his Philadelphia teammates made the Toronto Raptors pay in the 76ers' 109-102 victory. Tobias Harris scored 12 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter after the 76ers built a big early lead with long-range shooting, ending Toronto's four-game winning streak. “I thought we had a chance for a high-scoring game when they took the ball out of Joel's hands, but I thought our guys played well,” Philadelphia coach Doc Rivers said. “The turnovers (18) hurt us, no doubt, but we made great decisions and that's how you win games.” Embiid made only 3 of 13 shots and finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds and six turnovers. Furkan Korkmanz had 19 points and made five of Philadelphia's 17 3-pointers and shot 17 for 38 (44.7%) from behind the arc while the Raptors were denying Embiid the ball. “I should have run a better rotation scheme, let's leave it at that,” Toronto coach Nick Nurse... Tue Feb 23 202122:23Harris, Embiid lead 76ers over Raptors 109-102
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Tobias Harris scored 12 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter and the Philadelphia 76ers beat Toronto 109-102 on Tuesday night to end the Raptors' four-game winning streak. Joel Embiid had 18 points and 12 rebounds for the 76ers, and Furkan Korkmanz added 19 points. Normal Powell led the Raptors with 24 points. Pascal Siakam added 22 and Fred VanVleet had 12 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Ben Simmons finished with 15 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for the 76ers, who overcame seven fourth-quarter turnovers to end their four-game road losing streak. Korkmanz scored 16 points in the first quarter and the 76ers led by 21 after Harris' layup completed a 7-0 run midway through the second quarter. The 76ers led by 16 early in the fourth quarter, but Terence Davis scored three straight baskets and Siakam scored twice on an 18-8 run that got the margin down to six with 5:05 left. Harris responded with a couple of inside shots and a 3-pointer, and Embid scored... [More]
Fri Oct 30 202016:30Raptors to cooperate with Davis probe after assault charge
TORONTO (AP) — The Toronto Raptors say they will cooperate fully with the NBA’s investigation into guard Terence Davis following his arrest in New York on charges including assault. The team made its first public comment on the case in a statement Friday. Davis faces several charges after police said he hit his girlfriend in the face during an argument at a Manhattan high-rise on Tuesday. According to a criminal complaint, the woman’s son was standing next to her when Davis hit her, causing the child to fall. “Incidents of this kind are addressed and managed by the league through the joint NBA-NBPA policy on domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse,” the Raptors said. “The Toronto Raptors take these issues very seriously, and we will fully cooperate and support the League in its investigation of this matter as we work to determine the appropriate next steps for our team.” Davis' attorney, Greg Esposito, has said his client denies the charges. Davis is free on his own recognizance and his next court date is set for Dec. 11. Davis, a 23-year-old guard, played college basketball at Mississippi before joining the Raptors as an undrafted free agent before the start of the 2019-20 season. He averaged 7.5 points per game and was named to the league’s All-Rookie Second Team. ___ More AP NBA: https://apnews.com/NBA and https://twitter.com/AP_Sports
