Mon Mar 28 202220:36Elijah Hughes Joins Starting Five For Monday’s Game
Portland Trail Blazers small forward Elijah Hughes has shifted into the starting lineup for Monday's contest vs. the Thunder due to the team's widespread injury issues. The start will be Hughes' third since joining Portland, and he figures to receive a sizable minutes total with limited healthy wings in the mix. In 16 games since joining the Blazers, Hughes has reached double digits in scoring just once; he has shot 30.7 percent overall in that span. While Hughes would not traditionally be seen as having scoring upside, the combination of a decimated lineup and limited options will give him upside DFS appeal.

Wed Mar 9 202221:29Elijah Hughes Joins The Starting Five
Portland Trail Blazers forward Elijah Hughes will move into the starting five for Wednesday's game against the Utah Jazz. Both Anfernee Simons (knee) and Justise Winslow (Achilles) are sidelined, but hopeful to return soon. On Monday, Hughes played 19 minutes and finished with two points and one rebound. Hopefully, a move to the starting five will boost his value. However, he remains a risky fantasy option in basically all formats. Brandon Williams and Josh Hart are looking like much better fantasy options for Wednesday's slate.

Fri Jan 7 202219:15Trent Forrest, Elijah Hughes Draw Starts For Friday’s Game
Utah Jazz point guard Trent Forrest and small forward Elijah Hughes have been bumped into the starting five for Friday's contest against the Raptors. Forrest and Hughes will be joined by Jared Butler, Eric Paschall, and Hassan Whiteside, with all of the group having promising DFS upside due to the widespread absences of nearly every regular Jazz contributor. Both Forrest and Hughes have played sparingly off the bench this season, with neither accumulating more than five points in a single outing. The duo carry sizable risk due to their inexperience, but at punt play price tags, they boast two of the highest value-reaching ceilings on the board.
