Financial details have not yet been disclosed. The 25-year-old will battle for a reserve outfielder role with the O's during the spring, and could be a dark horse candidate to win the starting job in left field. He slashed an impressive .316/.354/.408 with three homers and 30 RBI in 70 games with Triple-A Fresno in 2013.

There's no word on the financials, but Peguero only needs to pass a physical in order to complete the deal. It is a major league contract. The 25-year-old has had a couple stints with the Giants over the past two seasons and batted .316/.354/.408 in Triple-A this past year.

Orioles executive vice president Dan Duquette confirmed that the team is on the verge of signing outfielder Francisco Peguero.
"We're working on it, but nothing is in place," said Duquette. "It's not a done deal. We're still in the process." Pueguero is expected to be added to the 40-man roster, so it sounds like he's getting a major league deal. The 25-year-old was let go by the Giants earlier this week, but it wasn't too long ago that he was considered a pretty good prospect.
